Advantages: Good range of questions, good clips Disadvantages: Very .... very.... slow
I was given this as a novelty gift by a friend who understood my verging-on-the-obsessive love of the 90s, cheesy music, quizzes and all things Now...! On face value, it seemed like the perfect present for me, and I couldn't wait to go home, slip the disc in and waste away hours identifying tunes, naming lesser-known members of one-hit-wonder bands and generally showing off the otherwise useless bank of trivia that is My Brain.
First impressions ... ...Busted's Year 3000 (on a rather short loop, yes, but I suppose most people would want to move on from Matt, Charlie and James ASAP) and a facade worthy of anything Now...! ; shining columns, over-the-top colouir schemes. My goodness, it even catered for sad freaks like myself with the inclusion of Single Player versions of all the games. An appealing title and from a well known collection of music CDs. There are questions selected from the 1960s, 1970s, 1980s, 1990s and 2000s. There are 3 different game types; Top 20 (the one we played), Top 40 and I-Spy. There are multi player and single player options with an on-screen tutorial. The video clips and music are all well recorded and clear. It certainly bought back some memories!
I paid £16.99 from HMV.

Advantages: Good Party Game Disadvantages: Painfully Slow
I had been looking out for a good party game for the christmas period, unfortunately I chose this one.
The packaging looks very good and certainly sells the game to you at a not inexpensive £16.99.
When loading the game it is unclear of how to play the different options, and then after selecting can take up to 2 minutes to get to the questions.
The questions are ok, you choose from 5 categories 60's,70's,80's,90's and current, I would judge the ... ...game falls down is the time taken between each question up to 3 minutes, it also fails to use the additional medium that DVD has over a standard box quiz i:e video and pictures with only 20% of the questions using this.
When playing at christmas it took 2 teams 2 hours to complete the game, as you can imagine interest was waning towards the end.
Techical bits are in works on all regions on a standard DVD player. ...
