...together with friends to watch Northern Exposure on telly in the '90s? No? If not, then you can fill this gap in your life by getting the DVD, available only from HMV at the rather costly price of £24. (I got it as a gift, but sneaked a look at the receipt!) It's a comedy set in the small Alaskan town of Cicely and follows the characters - one and all, rather eccentric - in their lives. The music is great - the soundtrack alone is worth the money ...

...got to watch the series Northern Exposure on television now is your chance to buy a piece of television history. The surreal but funny world of Cicely is available to buy on DVD and video. The down side is that only series one is available but hopefully if enough people buy it they might consider releasing the rest of the series.
