This film is about friendships, those of mother and daughter, sisters, friends & work colleagues. It also looks at romantic relationships, age differences, social differences and fear of commitment. This film follows the friendships of three waitress at the Mystic Pizza restaurant, Daisy Arujo (Julia ... ...JoJo ( Lili Taylor), the three of them work for Leona (Conchata Ferrell) and long to know what it is she puts on her famous pizza. All three of them work hard at the restaurant to earn the money they need to get out of their small fishing town, Daisy is the eldest and most rebellious of the three, she is beautiful and uses her looks to full advantage, JoJo has been dating her boyfriend for some time and he wants them to get married and settle down ...

Advantages: Some really good acting performances Disadvantages: A couple of unbelievable scenes
Mystic Pizza is the story of two sisters, Daisy, played by Julia Roberts and Kat, played by Annabeth Gish, and their friend JoJo, played by Lili Taylor(she was the girl in Haunting of Hill House-the spooky one with the carved children and the insomniacs). Anyway, the story follows their summer after high school as they prepare to go out into the real world, focusing on each of their love lives, as they work together in a pizza restaurant in the Connecticut ... ...Julia Roberts really!
There are various sub-plots including the visit of an infamous ftelevision food critic to the Mystic Pizza Restaurant.
The film resolves itself quiety yet satisfactorally, as each of the three girls seem to find their path in life and look hopefully to the future. ...

Mystic pizza is a very original film i cant say i have seen one like it you certainly get caught up in the romance of the relationships between the characters bill and Jojo and daisy and charlie played by Julia Roberts and Adam storke. The sound track is fabulous after seeing it i went searching for some of the delightful music used in it and there is quite a few laughs along the way in it too. especially with Jojo and bills ... ...Kat work with Jojo in mystic pizza the cast of this film are all wonderful actors they play there parts very convincingly. I think this is a film everyone should see at least once. Its just my opinion though but i fought it was absolutely brilliant and i think cos its focused on a few different storyline and relationships almost everyone will enjoy one or more aspects of the film. ...

Mystic Pizza focusses on three young women - Daisy (Julia Roberts), her sister Kat (Annabeth Gish) and their friend JOJO (Lili Taylor). This film tells the story of what happens to these three young women during the summer after they finnish High School. The three women spend their summer working in the Pizza Parlour in Mystic, Connecticut, where they fill each other in on their ambitions and plans for the future. Sensible Kat is on her way to Yale ... ...of the child that she regularly babysits for. JoJo is due to marry her high school sweetheart but she isn't too sure that that's what she wants (she leaves him at the alter). Daisy meets Charles (Adam Storke) who the girls believe will change Daisy's life forever but he is not all that he seems to be.....
This is a real heart warmer filled with some laugh out loud moments. Julia Roberts is one of my all time favourite actresses and I think she is ...
