Using it over the end credits however is a trifle self-indulgent, even if it provides an epilogue to the story in VH1-style information bubbles. Having heard good things about 'Music and Lyrics' I was really quite looking forward to sitting down and watching it on an evening. I got the popcorn on the ready, set the DVD to play and waited for the credits to roll. ...of fun poked at the music industry - including old videos of Grant's 'Wham' style band and also in the shape of 'Cora Corman' a young dancing, chanting diva style star (albeit with a heart of gold) who Grant finds himself dueting with. Grant trying to be 'hip' and get back into the music business also provides some good laughs. There is a good supporting cast who add to the laughs too. I was pleasantly surprised about the music in the film too - ...

The film as a whole is just another cute little film that no one will ever really take seriously and why should they? It's another film that's just easy to follow.
