Advantages: Muse at their best, lengthy set Disadvantages: Strange camera work
...live performances. Nobody can touch Muse at this moment in time when it comes to putting on a show, and Hullabaloo captures them in their prime. It's amazing that a band who'd only recorded two studio albums at the time could put together a seventeen song set and have it sound as brilliant as this. The band play a spectacular rendition of Citizen Erased which is for my money, one of the finest rock songs to come out of the last decade. Bellamy works ... ...you're a fan of earlier Muse albums, you'll absolutely adore Hullabaloo since it brings out the very best of the band before they escalated in to almost operatic rock. The band do a superb job timing the set to perfection. It's nice to see the tracks from Showbiz showcased alongside the heavier OOS material. As touring for their fourth album gets underway, we can expect to see classis such as Muscle Museum and Cave only on rare occasions - both are ...

...tape is pretty much what Muse had to offer during their summer appearances; grand-esque and spectacular, and like no other band on stage. I can't do mush more than to reccommend this to everyone, Muse fans or not (every Muse fan SHOULD own this though...) There are fast and hard songs, there are lighter-in-the-air moments, and there are moments where you can't help yourself but skim the stage, just to check that there are in fact just three members ...

Advantages: Excellent track list, camera work helps capture the live feel, refreshing "documentary" Disadvantages: Very few - recorded before the Absolution album, high price (£20+)
...has been to see a Muse concert will know what it's all about - crowd interaction, lightshows, giant balloons filled with ticker-tape, and most importantly incredible music. 99.9% of fans leaving a Muse concert know they have just witnessed one of the best live bands in the world today, and Hulllabaloo provides a mere taste of that.
Filmed in Paris in October 2001, Hullabaloo contains live footage of 19 of the best tracks from the Devonshire rock ... ...only way to appreciate just how good Muse are live is to go see them in the flesh, but this comes a close second. Essential to fans, a great purchase to everybody else.
NOTE: The "parental guidance" label applies to the film on disc 2, not the concert itself. ...

Advantages: Muse playing live Disadvantages: its a DVD, just dont get the live feeling
...Anyone who has heard of muse will know what their about, they are in a league of their own. I haven’t seen muse live, because I only recently heard of them, but I imagine that actually going to a live muse gig would be far greater than any DVD. This isn’t fault of the muse DVD, it’s just that you can’t capture the essence of a live gig on a DVD; you just don’t feel the atmosphere or the feeling of your hairs on the back of your neck. Only once did ... ...disc two for 40mins.
Muse are technically very gifted and write excellent music but the best thing is the feeling and emotion you get from this band they really are something special.
I would recommend this DVD to anyone who hasn’t seen muse live and would like to see what they are like live on stage, also it is recommended to anyone who has seen them live and wants to relive their experiences. I cant remember where I got it from but I’m about ...
