In fact the film fast forwards through the actual event in the first 5-10 minutes of the film, with a few other aspects being told briefly in flashbacks later in the film. ...bitter taste in my mind the acting is average with Bana being particularly awful and unconvincing and the more fiction based storyline being very disappointing. If you want to know about the Munich massacre watch the excellent documentary One Day in September (1999 ) and stay clear off this rubbish. ...

I really liked this movie and was gripped to the very end. Also it was hard to imagine that this was a Spielberg movie as it seemed so different to his normal stuff but it was a Spielberg movie and was outstanding and compelling. I was engaged by what was happening on screen and was intrigued with what was going to happen next. I would also like to point out that the settings were done very well to coincide with the time this happened. Anyway I definitely recommend this. ...
