...but here we go… Moulin Rouge: I am a huge fan of musicals but the other half isn’t keen. The Moulin Rouge however keeps both of us happy. I was trying to find a succinct sentence that could some up the Moulin Rouge but it has almost as many facets as the diamonds the lead character sings about! For those of you who have never watched the Moulin Rouge it is a musical about the famous “dancehall” in Paris of the same name and directed by Baz Luhrmann. ...

Nicole Kidman plays Satine and is both beautiful and charming in the role. The plot revolves around a courtesan (Satine) falling in love.. which throws up obvious complicaions... A further complication is that the duke (who owns the deeds to the moulin Rough) also 'loves' satine and won't allow Zidler to transform the Moulin Rough into a theater ...

moulin rouge is amazing! the whole film is so great at mixing old with new especially with the songs. the script is fantastic and the acting is great, allthough i doubt nicole kidman and ewan mcgregor can really sing as good as that. the actors are all well known and do a great job, and the costumes are amazing. it is definately a very girly film, and you can't watch it when you're drunk or you'll lose track. some of my friends have said it's a little ...
