Advantages: Lets out your emotions, makes you see life differently, Brilliant to watch Disadvantages: there are none!
I would say this is the best Love Story ever since Romeo and Juliet. I have watched this film at least 20 times and know all the lyrics to all the songs. Its just such an emotional film, and yet pure genious at the same time.
Christian (Ewan Mcgregor) wants to write a novel about love, his favourite subject. But the only probablem was, he had never been in love.... So while he was thinking what to do, an unconscience argentinian fell through his ... ...Many famous actors are in the film including, Kyle, Nicole Kidman, Ozzy Ozborn, and of course Ewan Mcgregor. There are many songs written by Elton John in this film including, "Your Song" which is sung extremely well by Ewan Mcgregor (Former Obi-Wan-Kanobi from star wars) This film is rated 12, because it has some sexual content in and the storyline may not be understandable to people below that age. This film is so romantic, you would think Romeo ...

Advantages: One of the greatest love stories Disadvantages: None (honestly - none)!
...to multi Oscar winning, The Moulin Rouge (Little Red Windmill)... the movie that hypnotizes your inner most child and takes you on a journey of magic and wonder.
Visionary director Baz Luhrmann (of Romeo & Juliet) presents his story of life in the bohemian quarter of Paris, in the late 1800's. His hero is the dashing Ewan McGregor who plays Christian, a penniless writer insearch of beauty, truth, freedom and love.
With a typewriter in one hand ... ...and powerful musical score makes Moulin Rouge more than a movie; it's a full night out experience. McGregor's performance excelled everyone's expectations, his singing was especially strong - hitting notes that most pop stars would not dare attempt! Lovable, charming, yet sexy enough to have any lady or gay man drooling in their seats. Kidman's performance is naturally stunning, as are the supporting roles of John Leguizamo (Toulouse-Lautrec), Jim ...

...writing a play for the Moulin Rouge. It is arranged for him to meet the beautiful coutesan (Nicole Kidman) and, of course, they fall in love. It is not easy going though, a rich aristocrat has his evil eye on her and tries to split them up, even resorting to trying to kill McGregors character!
The acting, singing and dancing are spectacular, there are both funny and sad parts, all of which is brilliantly acted. It will have you crying and laughing ...
