monty python and the holy grale has to be a a top production of the monty python crew it is so funny i have wached it over ten times my fave character is the french castle man he is so funny throwing his taunts upon king arther,also i like the way the film enhances old times with new times this film is a great "makes ben hur look like an epic" the suttle comedy in this film makes it so fantatic and its farfeched comedy makes you laugh the team ... This is by far my favourite Python film. I have had to replace it on tape twice due the wear and tear of so many viewings. I now thankfully have it on DVD and the added picture quality and zoom functions mean theres is more I can se that wasnt there before. The best way to watch this movie is if you are a little intoxicated (and obviously over 18 ;-) ) as watching it any other way (although still funny) isnt as fulfilling. I will just pick out ... ...of the best things the Monty Python team could have done! One of three feature films from them this is simply packed full of the perfect examples of just WHY they were, and are, so popular. After watching this film about a million times, and being able to quote it backward (honest, wanna see?) I can recommend this fully to anyone who likes decent comedy! If you ever wanted to what the average wing-speed of a fully-laden swallow is - then this is the film for you. If you are fortunate enough to know the King Arthur myths then prepare to have all that knowledge renedered forgotten and useless in the space of 83 minutes. Another masterpiece from the lads. John Clease, Michael Palin, Eric Idle, Graham Chapman, Terry Jones and Terry Gilliam star in this epic adventure in search for the holy grail. The opening credits feature a multitude of llama's who have contributed to the films production with cool flashing colours. Monty Pithons Life Of Brian shows how much comical genius the monty pithon lads have. The way it is set, the way it is acted out, the way it is scripted, its brill! As a song writter, I admire always look on the bright side of life for its light hearted humour and its potential as a normal song. The song is a great finale for the classic film and I hope that the monty pithon labs can get together again some day, well the remaining lads left, anyway. Always ... Read review
