What a fantastic, wonderfully animated film. My two year old adores this film. She's watches at least once a day, sometimes twice, and even though I have seen it about about 60 times already, I am sucked in everytime, so, yes I too watch Monsters Inc twice a day! The extras are some other animated shorts by Pixar that are on the normal single dvd. The 2nd dvd has the a detailed look at the making of the film and a tour of the Pixar studios which I found extremely interesting. A funny and incredibly original masterpiece. Having 2 small children means i get to watch loads of kids films and this is by far and away my favourite. The main characters Sulley and Mike work in the Monstropolis power station where the power is generated by extracting screams from human kids, who incidentally are the most poisonous toxic creatures imaginable in the monster world....or so they think. Sulley and Mike find themselves quite literally ...
...plot at the factory. There are a few twists and turns as the plot unfolds as the pair battle to return the child home and stop Randal and co carrying out there evil plans. Recommened to all 10/10. Well in the past I have been a big fan of the amination films produced by both Dreamworks and Pixar. Up to now the sheer expertise that had gone into films such as Shrek and the Toy Story Films but I believe Monsters inc will wipe the slate clean. The story briefly is that Monster City relies on Childrens Screams to power their city and so every night hundreds of monsters come out of childrens cupboards to scare children and generate electricity. ...

Now i know that this film has been reviewed to death. To be honest im not surprised as it is an outstanding film for kids of all ages. I was blown away by sight of Sulley's fur moving as if it was real and not computer generated, but not only was the animation outstanding, the soryline and script were first class Ok the basic sory is that Sulley (a big blue bear with horns) and Mike ( a green tennis ball with one eye) work for Monsters Inc. I have watched this film inside out and back to front over the past few years with my 2 children and it never get's boring. Its one of those films you can keep going back to time and time again. It's interesting enough to watch as an adult and fun enough to enjoy as a child, the recipe that Pixar seem to have nailed. The quality of the graphics of this film is second to none.
