Yes I am referring to the film Monsters Inc it is my lifeline at times and the only way I can get anything done. You see my 2 year old daughter is addicted to it in every way possible. I never thought that a child so young could be affected so much by a film and merchandising. Monsters Inc is another classic to join the ranks of Toy story I and II made by Disney Pixar, the story line, animation and effects are fantastic. It is the story of two work ... ...who is a large blue monster with purple patches with the voice of John Goodman who is the top scare at Monsters Inc, the scare factory and Mike Wasowski who is a small round green monster with one eye who plays Sulys assistant at the ‘factory’.

Monsters inc was a film produced by Pixar animation studios on February 8, 2002. The film was a massive hit and the fourth film Pixar had created. The film is a computer generated film and is about a place called Monstropolis. This is a place that only monsters live and they generate their power by scaring children and using their screams a source of power. The monsters use doors in a factory that enter children's bedrooms and the monsters then scare ... ...screams in a container to use for power.
The monsters believe that children themselves are toxic, and go to great lengths to prevent contact; should a monster be touched by a child or their belongings they need to decontaminated. The company (monsters inc) holds a top scare award and employee Sulley holds this record. He is friends with Mike Wazowski and the pair always manage to generate the most power. A fellow employee Randall is jealous of their ...

I have said it before, and I will say it again, I am a big kid at heart. I had no excuses for going to watch Monsters Inc, I just went to see it because it's an animated film. Say no more!
Basically the storyline goes that in monster world, they generate their electricity by scaring children in the human world. Monsters walk through a door, which on the other side opens up in a childs bedroom. They then scare the children, and the energy generated ... ...Unfortunately (for the monsters) they believe they have an allergy to children and don't touch them, or their belongings! If they do, they pay the price!!!

What a film, I could watch this film twenty times and not get bored of it.
This animated film is made by Disney/Pixar and is along the same lines as Toy Story. Don’t be mistaken in thinking it’s for kids, we all found it hilarious!
The story is about a monster world which is powered using the screams from kids. Monsters go through doors into the kids bedrooms and night and scare them. Their screams are collected and used for power. ... ...fluffy blue monster) who is an expert scarer and Mike (little green man with one eye) who is Sully’s assistant. Of course you have to have a baddy, this is Randell, a lizard type thing! One day a kid escapes into the monster world. Anything from our world is classed as contagious so a kid running around is not a good thing! Mike and Sully spend the rest of the film trying to hide her and get her back to her room. WOWEE - they did it again!
I think the famous tagline that went with thisone was something like - We Scare because we care!
at the end of the film you find that you actually \"care\" too! I found myself teary eyed when poor Sully had to leave Bubba in her room.

This film is best to watch with your partner, with groups of friends and the family. I will put money on this film that you will want to watch it again and again. Sully, the big blue guy is the number one scarer at Monsters, Inc. and Mike Wazowski, the one eyed green guy, is his engineer. The way this works is each child has a door. What a fabulous film, Sully is my hero. Love him to bits. All the characters are excellent and you bond with them it's uncanny, almost "real". The graphics blow you away and there's a scene in the snow and Sully's fur is blowing in the wind, it's breathtaking. (okay so I'm a geek!)

Advantages: Good plot, highly amusing and original Disadvantages: Don't miss the pre film
I have always enjoyed animation films so over the years Disney has collected a significant amount of money from me. I have as I have got older moved away from this genre due to the 'singalong world is wonderful' type of film produced in the last 10 years or so. However the introduction of 'Toy Story' has persuaded me to return. The newer animation appears to be spending more on the plot and story. Some non animation films could take a leaf from their ... ...enjoyed and Monsters Inc. is of a similar high standard.
Initially you wonder how doe the plot of scaring children can be made amusing, but the imaginative plot and story line was made very realistic plausible and above all hilarious. Make sure that you do not miss pre film at the start and don't make the mistake of rushing to the car park as soon as the credits roll. Why do people do that? If you do you will miss the 'a la Jackie Chan' out takes. ...

Advantages: Superb Film with great features Disadvantages: None - this film is without fault to me
Before I start, this is a review of the Collectors Edition, since I have noticed that there are reviews of the standard edition too in this section.
So to start with, I'll talk about the film. It's from the good old favours, Disney, along with the new animation group Pixar, who are responsible for Toy Story 1&2, and A Bug's Life. For those who have seen any of these films, you'll know that it is great quality animation they are famous for, and Monsters ... ...a company called Monsters Incorporated. They are the energy firm for the monster world, and they supply the energy through the screams of children. The monsters enter the childrens bedrooms at night and scare them in their own way. The monsters though, believe that the children are dangerous and if they touch them, they will die. So when Scully accidently leaves a small girl into the monster world, the whole town is under threat. It's upto Scully ...

Advantages: Excellent value and a timeless classic that you would watch time and again. Disadvantages: Not quite the same if you don't watch it with the kids.
If you havn’t seen this yet, then where have you been? A masterclass in children’s entertainment from the creators of Shrek and Toy Story. With a classic sense of fun, humour and adventure with a cracking storyline that appeals to the younger and adult audiences. This, already classic, Disney film incorprated the voices of John Goodman and Billy Crystal to really make the characters come alive. There's so much to say about this film, that I'd best get started.
Sully (Goodman) and Mike Krazowski (Crystal) both work for Monsters Inc. This is where the power is generated to run monstropolis by scaring children and gaining power from their screams. Sully is the top scarer, whilst Mike is his sidekick. The things ... ...in fact scared of children! So what happens when a small girl ends up in monstropolis? It's up to Sully and Mike to save the day, and reveal a dark plot hidden within Monsters Inc.
The best part of this film are the characters. Sully and Mike are just so likeable and not at all scary. Ros is plain hysterical, and Boo is adorable. The humour is quite adult in places, and often spoofs other films, such as Armageddon. The animation is outstanding and ...
