Advantages: It Will Keep The Kids Occupied! Disadvantages: Limited for Adults
Ok, so I lied, but I had to make the line punchier! Note: this is a review for the Monsters Inc game on the PS1. Enjoy!
A word of warning before reading: this game is not really intended for the adult audience, but for young children, as adults will become quickly bored, frustrated and have the urge to throw their Playstation out the window! Monsters Inc is based on the hit film released not too long ago. Revolving religously around the film, you ... ...scarer at Monsters Inc, and recieve a diploma from the boss of Monsters Inc himself. The levels vary, from bedrooms to playgrounds, each with their own individual style that kids will love. You have to choose from either Mike, a small, greem monster with one eye, or Sullivan, a blue, large and dim-witted monster, but whoever you choose, the other one will aid you in parts during the game. It's a decent, well thought out concept, but is it any good? ...

Pixar have been known for creating one type of film for one type of audience - animated motion pictures for children. Both Toy Story 1 and 2 were huge hits and fondly remember watching them when I was younger. Pixar brought animation to the height of its success and now they're back with Monsters Inc. But this film is different to the others, while Toy Story 1 and 2 appealed to the whole family, it was aimed at children, whereas Monsters Inc has ... ...universal appeal. Monsters Inc takes place in the imaginative and farce world of… a monster factory, or more commonly know as Monsters Inc! What takes place in this factory is no secret; Monsters go through specially made doors to collect screams by scaring children, which powers the Monster world. But, as usual, the film isn't as simple as that. The plot sees Sulley, Monsters Inc's champion scarer, and Mike, who sorts out Sulley's doors, bring a ...

A review from a regular Joe Public, one of the people, the customer, Here's my story :- Unless you are hideous Monster who has hidden away from the light of day for many a month you will have certainly heard of the film Monsters Inc. Here's my review.
About two weeks ago I went to see this film with my Mother my Sister and another family. I will start by saying all of us loved it. By all of us I mean two adults, two teenagers, one 11 year old and ... ...kept to the tradition of the Toy Story films and have included both funny jokes for the kids and slightly more mature and deeper meaning jokes for the adults. The film will set you off laughing in the first minute. Why? Because before the movie starts there is a mini film called "For the Birds" this is a great sub film and gets everyone in the audience relaxed and in a good mood. I am not going to tell you the story of the film because I'm sure you've ...

Well what can I say, my girlfriend loves children's films and this was another that she dragged me to. To be honest, this was actually quite good. I pleaded with her to go to the later showing in the evening, but no we went on a Sunday afternoon and as soon as we sat down we were surrounded by children. Oh and please don't think I am having a go at children or their parents, I was in the right place at the wrong time, not them! Cast (voices)/Characters John Goodman - Sullivan ...

...that on February the 8th Monsters, Inc is coming out at cinemas. Every ad break has some product endorsed by Monsters, Inc and McDonalds are even doing a Happy Meal promotion.
Animation has come a long way since the early Disney flicks, and the popularity of Toy Story 2 and Shrek proved that cartoons aren't just for kids. Monsters, Inc, is Disney and Pixar's attempt at animation for the 21st Century. But does it work?
I was expecting the cinema ... ...surprised to find the screen only about a quarter full, with only a few children. From the trailers I had seen I expected laughs and something along the lines of Shrek, which I really enjoyed. The film lasts for 1 hour and 40 minutes and although rated U, I think very small children may be a bit scared at some parts. Or was that just me?
The story is based around the Monsters Incorporated factory, an energy company which uses the scariest monsters ...

Monsters Inc is a Pixar and Disney production and I thoroughly enjoyed watching it at the cinema. For some reason I never got round to seeing Monsters Inc when it was released earlier in the year. I've like everything that Pixar have done feature wise and own all of their previous efforts on dvd. Yes you see that despite ... ...that actually understands what is the core of a good film. The makers of Final Fantasy:The Spirits Within should take note. Monsters Inc takes the childhood idea of monsters under the bed and in the cupboards in you bedroom and then runs with it. FILM REVIEW ONLY - NO DVD INFO
Due to hit the big screens next week, is Monsters Inc about to take the cinema world by storm? Will it knock Potter and the Rings for six? Well, it certainly gets my vote!
I have just returned from a preview showing of the film and all I can say is WOW! If there is one thing I like about previews it is that you don’t have to sit through boring adverts and trailers before getting to the main action – you go straight ... ...it!
As anyone who reads my work regularly will tell you, I am a strong believer in the adage that a good review should not spoil the film for those about to go and see it and so if you want to get the story in detail before you go I suggest you go to one of the excellent websites devoted to the film (www.monstersinc.com). What follows will be why you should go and catch this wonderful piece.

My daughter and I have been having a film and popcorn day, I thought it may wind her down as she starts back at school tommorow, but I have decided to come onto ciao as getting tired of watching kids films all day, what with this now being the 4th film now on!! ...about? Yes, it’s Sulley from Monsters, Inc.
I went to see the film yesterday with my eight year old daughter and her friend. I had read mixed reviews before going, so I wondered what I’d think to it. Would it be too over-sweet and sentimental? Gratingly American? Too childish or soppy? Too samey? No, none of those. It was absolutely wonderful.
The plot is basically about a world where monsters of all kinds live together in the Monstropolis. ... ...stories in the newspaper, the Monsters, Inc. company logo (We only scare, because we care’) – each are clever and witty, adding to the enjoyment of the film. The animation is flawless throughout and exciting to watch, it’s the sort of film you could watch repeatedly and notice new touches each time. The monsters themselves are very well designed too, with probably every connotation covered – from one-eyed to multi-eyed, thin ...
