Who else would incorporate a dead cow, a very angry midget, plenty of "gross-out" humour and a loveable cast but the Farley brothers. When this was released many people panned it say "It's racist, sexist, homophobic and any other word ending in -ist or -phobic. This is without a doubt Jim Carrey's best film yet, it is absolutely hilarious and I could not stop laughing from start to finish. It is even better than Dumb and Dumber. Jim Carrey plays Charlie Baileygates, a police officer for the Rhode Island Force. The Farrelly Brothers have established themselves as the kings of the gross out comedy which peaked with Theres Something About Mary. I actually found Kingpin amusin as well but I'm not a fan of Dumb and Dumber and this is the film where Carrey is re-united with his directors. NOT FOR THE EASILY OFFENDED !!It's an ideal video to sit in with on a Saturday night and I do enjoy Jim Carreys films but I must admit this isn’t one of the best. The Farrelly Brothers seem to be stuck in a rut of releasing movies which try to outdo each previous offering on shock factor. 'There's Something About Mary' which shocked everyone with its penis-caught-in-a-zipper and sperm-hanging-from-the-ear gags now seems pretty tame when compare to their other more recent offering 'Scary Movie'. This their latest release again tries to outdo both these previous offerings but does little but offend common taste ... Read review

Nothing on the TV and you’re quit bored, you have a couple of friends aroound and decide to watch a comedy then you come across ‘Me Myself and Irene’ it could be good. Most of us by now would know what to expect from a Farrely brothers film - it must affend at least one and usually quite a few sections of the population, but its done with such humour and class that its hard to see why anyone would gte upset. Carrey carries off his role with ease, and its hard to think of another actor who could play this part with anywhere near as much comedy. In reality, this should be a magic formula, one which reunites Carrey with his Dumb And Dumber (1994) brethren, sits back and watches the coffers swell. The Movie Charlie (Jim Carrey) is the best cadet on the Long Island Police Force, his in love with the prettiest girl in the area and has everything going for him. the scenario is set. I went to watch this film with high expectations - maybe that was my problem. The film was given a lot of media coverage, and their was a a lot of talk about this film. I was, however, very disapointed after watching this film. The plot itself was not exactly amazing - a cop with split personality who is trying to help a young woman who is on the run from the law. Me, Myself, and Irene is the newest in line from the Farely brothers, people going in thinking they are gonna see "Something about Mary 2" may be dissapointed, the humor is a little over the top at times. It has moments of comedic brilliance none the less. If you don't mind a little raunchy humor, then deffinately check it out.
