Advantages: More exciting action scenes Disadvantages: Can go over your head
...Neo has made. With the Matrix being one of the most exciting and complex trilogys of all time, it can be daunting to watch this film, however if you are a follower of the franchise it is something you will not want to miss. In my previous review I covered Reloaded, and you will want to watch that film before reading the entirity of this review. The 'to be concluded' ending of Reloaded is where we enter Revolutions, and the big subject at hand is ... ...and they go into the Matrix to hunt down this Traindriver. The Traindriver, although he appears more like a tramp, is in his element down in his tiny station and there is nothing Neo can do to overpower him. Morpheus and Trinity therefore have to go break into a club and speak with Merovingian and his wife, the French characters from Reloaded. In my opinion, both these characters play their role really well and put the rest of the cast to shame. ...

...to flo-mo bullet time. The Matrix Reloaded: a sex/rave scene that went on far too long and a bloke who sprouted psycho-babble, inserting “ergo” into every sentence. The Matrix Revolutions: the trilogy’s final act and the film that explains everything?

Advantages: Jaw dropping visuals Disadvantages: Can be rather boring
The Matrix Revolutions is the final part in The Matrix saga. In it, Zion is preparing for the oncoming onslaught of the machines in which they stand no chance of survival. Meanwhile, Neo is held captive by the Merovingian at a train station so Trinity & Morpheus set out on a journey to rescue him so he can save everyone.
This one suffers from the same thing Reloaded did. It's too pretentious and some of the philosophical aspects feel forced. The ... ...realism.
The acting is good again, albeit not as good as the first one as the script can be rather clunky at times. If you want to see a Matrix film I suggest you stick with the first one, it's not as bogged down and has better action scenes. ...

Advantages: the conclusion of the brilliant saga Disadvantages: some may find it confusing
The Matrix Revolutions is that explosive third installment of the sci-fi, geek loving, special effects, machine loving saga of the 90s and new millenium. For 5 years audiences waited for the ending to the amazing film The Matrix which came out in 1999. Revolutions takes off from the second one with Neo in a coma and his love Trinity watching over him. Mr Smith is his usual self during this film being sneaky and mischievious with his usual witty one ... ...not only Zion but the Matrix and every mind in it! Watch close for the oracle and what she has to say, you will notice a bit of a change in her that i think was not explained properly, watch the film and you will see what i mean. cant tell you too much or else ill ruin it for you. The special effects in this film are superb and all i can say is they had a big budget. The machines and their attack is fantastic. This film also sees Neo doing what no ...

...a halfway point between the matrix and the machine mainframe.
This is the first time that we are introduced to some ordinary programs, that are not trying to kill all the humans. Neo is forced to confront the fact that in fact, the machines are not so different from us. They keep humans trapped in an electronic world, but on the whole they are considerably more benign towards the humans than they were towards the machines in the conflict that sparked ... ...a good conclusion to the Matrix saga. It continues with the trend of asking semi-philosophical questions and probing the question of what it is to be a human. It also starts to query the clear good/evil divide between human and machine. It maintains the impeccable style and grace of the earlier films. However, I did find that some of the fight scenes ran overlong. It seems almost like the Wachowski brothers got carried away with their special effects. ...

Advantages: Another Blockbuster In Terms Of Special Effects Disadvantages: The Story
...those who don't follow the Matrix the third film starts off exactly where the second left off and although this is a great idea it really means that you are better off watching the second film beforehand again to refresh the story in your head.
Moving onto the film itself, a brief plot for all those who never watched the first two would be that Neo has now realised that he alone is the one that can stop the robots and it is up to him to free the ... ...The script in Matrix Revolutions just about holds up although it has one of them endings where the audience is looking around at each other saying "What just happened there". The story and plot don't quite match up to the great story that was "The Matrix " but as far as films go it was still very enjoyable. I do have to mention a few bad points I picked up from the film such as the sex scene between Neo and Trinity which I thought was just totally ...

Advantages: Epic end to the story, blinding special effects Disadvantages: Plot felt slightly tired and the grand philosophical theme a little contrived
I was dead keen to watch this film after seeing the first two parts of the trilogy and I have to say I personally was disappointed.
The first film is, of course, brilliant; the second deals with bigger issues than just Neo's quest to find himself but is still strong and has a lot to offer.
But by the time we get to the third part it's all starting to get a bit tired. I found myself longing for the gritty, desperate involvement I felt in the first ... ...offer: the plot moves along quickly, there is less of the cod philosophy of the second film and, as we've come to expect from the Wachowski brothers, the action sequences and special effects are dazzling.
But I still couldn't escape the feeling that I was on the outside looking in, unlike the claustrophobic feeling of being involved in the plot that I got out of the first film.
So what can I say about Revolutions to sum up? Well, there's no doubt ...

Advantages: Interesting and gets you thinking Disadvantages: Can be very confusing and also needs to be watched more than once to understand
I think that this film has a very confusing story to it with the audience (us) not knowing which world is the real one and which world is...... and so on. This film has a very clever aspect to it as it does point out a very good thing about how our lives run and our world. Although scientifically confusing, the film remains interesting and has brilliant actors that best suit this sort of film.
One of the majorly different things about this film ... ...ages after the film has actually finished so the film has a bit hit where it is well remembered, even if only saw once.
I think that this film should be bought on DVD and watched many times so that clear understanding can be achieved and also so that people can watch it many times to see something different each time that it is viewed. ...

The second movie introduces a flip side of reality: the 'real' world and climaxes with a huge twist which by the third movie the writers seem to have completely forgotten about. yes... there are some fantastic special effects... but special effects alone dont make a good movie. so in summary, the plot is poor, the actors just didnt seem to be bothered any more and the action scenes were tedious and completely ...

...the third film in the matrix series of films, it picks up directly from the previuos film The matrix reloaded and I think for a third its not actually bad. This film is basically about Neo trying to save the human race. He heads off to the city of the machines to try to make piece and stop agent smith. The special effects are great but the film does drag on a bit and because of this its hard to just sit and watch this film. However if your a matrix ... ...some machines outside of the Matrix and by just thinking them to stop. So back to the film i'm writing about, anyway Neo is stuck between the machine world and the matrix. When Neo comes round he is stuck in this underground train station and the only way out is to get a ride on a train from (THE TRAIN MAN), the train man is a deadly program which has the ability to smuggle programs in and out of the Matrix.
So what happens next is that Morphias ...
