Little Miss Sunshine was definitely the independent film of 2006. Garnering four Oscar nomination (two of which were wins), six BAFTA nominations (with two wins), a Golden Globe nomination and one of the highest bids for a film in the history of the Sundance Film festival, I must say expected nothing short of greatness from Little Miss Sunshine. Disadvantages: Boring; dull; too long; no story to it; unmemorable

...of this, he was a little boring though despite this, his character was really prominent and I actually enjoyed watching him do and say nothing (or perhaps it was because I found him attractive!). 6. ...conformist and plastic society, the little girl's final performance at the pageant is so disturbing that I found myself sympathising with the ogre-like pageant organiser, whom the film is asking us to despise. What else does the film tell us? By its conclusion, none of the characters appear to have grown or learnt anything from their experiences.
