...than playing on past glories, Lethal Weapon 2 could easily stand alone as an original movie in its own right and that is very much in its favour. The rough edges which could arguably be said to be seen in the original are smoothed out by the inclusion of Boam on the team and the addition of the additional character played by Pesci simply add a deeper dimension to the proceedings.
