Lee Evans is probably one of the best British comedians out there. His slapstick style jokes and his comedic delivery shoots him right to the top of the list of must see comics. ----- About Lee -----
Lee Evans was born in Bristol in1964, in Avon mouth. Lee started off as a boxer, but soon realised his passion for comedy and after leaving arts School he spent six years touring clubs across the UK whilst building his reputation ... ...explain the style in which Lee Evans performs because it is so unique. However I would have to say he rather similar to those famous comedians like Norman Wisdom and Charlie Chaplain in the way in which he performs. The comedy that he portrays is in a much more slapstick sort of way, rather than the traditional stand up. He acts out every joke in a way in which the jokes are brought to life, rather than just relying on delivery of lines from jokes, ...

Lee Evans: Live At Her Majesty's Theatre
The Start Of A Journey.
As time passes many things mature, from a fine wine to a good old wedge of cheese and in a slightly weird analogy Lee Evans is somewhat the same. Live at her majesty's marks the end of lee's first ever UK tour.
I would advise if you are not familiar with Lee Evans but want to watch his DVD's then get the full collection and watch as lee grows into the fine comedian he is today.
... ...comedy circuit for several years Lee got his big break when he won the Perrier comedy award for his fine performances at the Edinburgh festival.
The Show
The show last for a little over an hour and features Lee's unique energetic style throughout. His every-day observations will have you laughing out of your seat and if you are a comedy connoisseur you will see how many aspects of this performance have influenced later comedians such as Peter Kay.

Advantages: Funny, cheap, a good way to fill and afternoon Disadvantages: Not the best dvd.
...am bias, i'm a massive Lee Evans fan!! I 've bought tickets to see him in Manchester in November, practially front row and i can't wait.
Anyway back to this video, well even though im bias, i won't lie, this is probably not one of his better videos. He's funny don't get me wrong, but where as he usualy has an uncomfortable humour, where he deosn't seem to know what he's doing, and rolls off joke after joke, on this video he just seems uncomfortable ... ...is one of many funny Lee Evans DVD's i have. Not the best, but it's better than alot of comedians. Also if you visit Amazon you can pick this DVD up for about £6 - £7, cheaper if you buy it second hand. I'd recommend this to anyone who has a sunday afternoon to fill up, or if your off sick and have nothing better to do. I wouldn't spend my Friday or Saturday night in watching it.
I know this aint the ebst review, but there's not an awful lot mroe ...
