...my opinion work well again if you let it be. don't think that your vison of Lara and the intricacies of the game will be so well enwrapped as yopu are whilst in front of your monitor!

Advantages: Good acting Disadvantages: Rubbish plot
...The actress who played Lara Croft is very talented and did play a good part in the movie, the special affects were execllent, but it was just the story-line then didn't keep me interested.
The sound track with U2 singing "Elevation" made the film what it was really. That was one of the best parts of the film adn I will definatly be buying the CD.
No doubt there will be a follow up movie called Tomb Raider 2, which will continue with the downwards ...

There is only one group of people that this film is gonna be popular with and thats the guys.
Angelina is gorgeous and does the best she can do with the script but she is capable of so much more.All that is required of her is a lot of running around and a jiggling chest, both of which she delivers.
... ...put in a scene where Lara runs down the stairs just so the guys can see her boobs bouncing up and down,but being a girl this held no interest for me.
They did TRY and make a good film, the action sequences are actually quite but the film finds itself getting lost in the plot which has been made far too complicated.
Sadly though this film actually did okay at the box office thanks, in no small part, to the large male audience who were only concerned ...

...pointless emotional baggage given to Lara to make her into a real character. Admittedly, this is a boys film and most of them came out crediting its genius, but the female members of the audience such as myself were less impressed. The writers have tried to turn a computer game character into a believable person, and in my opinion have failed miserably. ...

Advantages: Not as bad as the Cradle of Life Disadvantages: Bad plot
...Angelina Jolie makes a brilliant Lara Croft, it could of been the part she was born to play, if the scriptwriters had any imagination. The new James Bond also plays a part, Daniel Craig plays a treasure hunter who is working for the villan, and has had a past with our heroine. To be fair to him he plays the part well, but the scriptwriters made his character very baland so he didn't have a chance.
On a final note, most people knew that the film ... ...the game, but they could have at least tried to get a little bit closer to the quality of the game. Now the film is talked about in hushed voices, for it has in my opinion ruined one of the best games in the history of the playstation, so for that I think that they should never make another one of these films for they will make the game seem dirty and rubbish. ...

...lots off very good sences, Lara croft in the film is very sexy which is good because it is a good part to play. The best parts are when either there is fighting or when lara is pratiscing taking on even Tomb monsters.
It has a very good story line and is very intersting. There are lots of very good and funny sences
I recomed that you get it out because you won't believe how good it is.it has been given lots of hipe and it is worth it. ...

I was really looking forward to when i could manage to see tomb raider and boy was i dissapointed.It is one of the first films i have ever been to at the cinema that i have not liked as much as i expected i would.I thought the plot should have been more realistic and then some of the stunts performed would have seemed a bit more daring but due to the plot it made it seem that any thing could happen.Statues coming alive,time travel...i mean they might ...

Lara Croft-Tomb Raider, this film was based on the british computer game and now it's a big film. I was put off seeing this film after reading the reviews in magazines, saying it was quite tacky and had no real storyline, so I thought I would go and see it myself.

I went to see this film with high expectations.It was hyped up incredibly,but when it came down to the actual film,this was a fantastic flop. Ok Jolie attracted the audience and she acted reasonbaly. ...Raider, along with its' heroine, Lara Croft have been adapted nicely to the big screen. Angelina Jolie plays the sexy treasure stealer in what will most likely be this summers biggest film. The film itself plays much like the video game would. We see Lara at home, Lara in training, and Lara off raiding ancient temples in exotic locations. Of course, we see Lara fighting enemy, and bouncing as she runs. Apparently Lara's breasts have been toned down ... ...they exist. So how does Lara get involved in this plot to find the tools to rule the world? Her dead father who was an archaeologist possessed one of the pieces, and left instructions for Lara to gather the other pieces to prevent the wrong people from getting hold of them. The films main subplot revolves around Lara's desire to see her father again. She feels his death has resulted in time being stolen from them both, and the villains will be sure ...

why release a film like this in this country, when all the film board over here have don is cut it to bits. Their is alot sections of the film been cut. So they could make the film a 12 cert as all scenes with any violence above the head have been cut out so when the film comes out on video are we going to see those extra scenes.So are we going to have the same aspect of when it comes out on video we going to have the special edition which you have ...
