...of the tombs which Lady Lara Croft so gleefully raids. Okay, chest references over, it's safe to come out of the wardrobe... Most of the write ups I've seen of 'Lara Croft Tomb Raider' have slated it as dire fare, with little to commend it. I’d heard a lot about how bad this film was, so when a few my friends asked me to go along I grabbed the chance. Hey, if it’s good it gives me something to disagree with everyone else about. However, despite going to Star City in Birmingham do go and see it I still didn’t enjoy the film much. So looks like I have to join the club and give this film a thumbs down. Disadvantages: No underwater swimming scenes, like in the game

...for too long, after all Lara is an action character. I wont talk about the plot for too long as it is one of the weaker points in the film. The Action: ---------- Angelina, did almost all of her stunts and built a physique for herself which most girls would die for. ...starts Ericsson proudly say that Lara Croft uses their little device, the ironic thing is though that her phone breaks during the film, and she only uses the Land Rover for a few minutes before embarking on foot. Disadvantages: Subtle as a Brick

...less than that. Angelina Jolie plays Lara Croft, the incredibly wealthy orphaned Daughter off an eminent archaeologist who everyone in the film seemed to have met at some point or another. Disadvantages: Lara's already existing biography has not been kept!

Who has never heard about Lara Croft, the virtual character of the Tomb Raider games (already 5 have been released). Since her first appearance in 1995, Lara's fame kept growing so that she came back for 4 other adventures, with an always improved...shape (i'm indeed speaking about the number of polygons!:)).
