...twin terrors start causing havoc, Lady finds herself being blamed for all the trouble and after she is fitted with a muzzle decides to escape from the home.
Out on the streets in an unusual world, Lady comes across Tramp, a cocky male dog from the rough side of town. After helping Lady to remove the muzzle, he takes her out for a night on the town, Tramp style, ending up with a romantic Italian meal thanks to two canine loving waiters. Having spent ... ...Lady and the Tramp was the 15th animated picture to come out of the Walt Disney studios. Filled with stunning animation, wonderful songs and a brilliant classical story line, this has to be one of my favourite films to come out of Walt Disney studios. Unlike many of the Disney films from this era, Lady and the Tramp is different, due to the fact that it doesn't really have a completely nasty villain, and although Aunt Sarah doesn't like dogs, she ...

Advantages: Romantic love story Disadvantages: Too sugary
Lady is a beautiful cocker spaniel and Tramp is a scruffy mongrel. When this unlikely pair gets together there is trouble ahead but also romance in this classic Disney animation about two loveable dogs.
It is the story of a puppy called Lady who was bought as present from a husband, Jim Dear, to his wife, Darling. She makes friends with two local dogs, a small black Scottish terrier, called Jock, and a big, brown bloodhound, called Trusty. They ... ...cats with her, looks after Lady and the baby. When the cats get Lady into trouble unfairly she gets taken to have a muzzle put on her. She escapes but gets into danger. She is rescued by Tramp and their adventures together begin as she learns about life outside a family home unrestricted by owners. Some is fun; some is not quite so much fun.

Advantages: romantic, fabulous Disadvantages: dont know
Lady and the Tramp, one of my favourite childhood movies, goes down as a classic animation and one that I am sure is enjoyed by children today. Who doesn't like watching cute animals with large, kind eyes? Lady and the Tramp is about love and sacrifice, bringing together a posh female dog with a homeless stray, who is sexy in his own right. Also included are the memorable Siamese trouble-making cats (Peggy Lee) and the wonderful candle-lit scene ...

...be with the likes of Lady a beautiful pedigree dog and he just being a dirty little street tramp, but thankfully with a few ups and downs songs to sing along to breathtaking chases throughout the film and a run in with the scary dog pound. It all ends well and we get to see the new little additions to Lady and Tramps family. A beautiful tale about Love knows no boundaries and you cant help who you fall in love with. I just adore the way Disney portrays ...

Advantages: Special Edition, Great family viewing, Disadvantages: Cardboard outter case - easily damaged though can be easily removed
The DVD overall is a great family movie. Although a supposed classic I had not watched the films until a month ago.
Reflecting on the story the narrative is a good one encompassing a different culture and classes, which are told through loveable animal characters - as Disney is so famous for.
The film cover many issues - social class, new additions to the family, emotions, and cultures. Although it highlights social class and the differences between ... ...what there background. The social class issue doesn't really say that one class is better than another in this film, which is what I like about it too.
The second not-so-well-known film continues from the first and overall both films are worth watching. I like that both films are in special edition which means more extra features. Although the cardboard case can easily get scuffed it keeps the films together. ...

This is quite simply one of those classic films that you have to show your kids and is a fantastic addition to any collection. It is really everything you want in a story with good morals and is perfect for adults as well as the little ones.
Disney does not seem to make as many great titles as this nowadays but they should do if they want future generations to continue to watch them time and time again.
This special edition is very good because ...
