Loads and loads of bloody ultra-violence, strong language, scenes of a sexual nature, drug references. Personally I enjoyed Kiss of the Dragon more than Jet Li’s previous film, Romeo Must Die, perhaps some of this can be attributed to seeing it in the cinema rather than on the video, but in terms of originality and using Li’s potential it is still disappointing. If you want to view a load of arty farty brokeback mountain shite then this movie is not for you. If you want an entertaning beat em up to satisfy your needs then this will do it. This is Jet Li's best American film (except maybe for cradle to the grave), restoring my faith that he may still break into American cinema. With dazzling action scenes, beautifully choreographed by Corey Yuen, this movie takes a more realistic aproach to martial arts action.
