This is one of the first movies that i watched in this type of genre that really got me into the whole crusades thing, it shows how you can take an ordinary person, put him into an extraordinary situation, and he can do great things.
This story starts off with one man,a simple blacksmith,who is so angry at himself for losing his wife and daughter,that is looking for some sort of hope,from anywhere that he can get it. When his father comes into the ... ...he sees this as his chance for absolution. Towards the end of the movie is probably the best part in my opinion, even after so much bloodshed has been undertaken to capture the city, he would rather give it up, peacefully, then see any more of his brothers in arms massacred to defend it.
Throughout the movie, you will see a lot of the different Orders that were around back then, this movie really got me fascinated into all of them, what they must ...
