KILL BILL is Tarantino's homage to Martial Arts & Grindhouse films from the 60's and 70's and in my personal opinion, is the best film of 2003 so far. ...is so distorted and gory! Kill Boll Vol 1 was incredibly easy to follow for Tarantino ... although the film does jump about a little the basic story line is very apparent. The affects are amazing ... maybe to life like for the wear stomached amoungst us! Its a big one up for girl power and Uma is simply beautiful and excellent throughout. I must admit I did like this film. There were aspects of the film when I thought what sick person made this, but I didn't get up and walk out of the cinema. The suspence of what was going to happen next (although you knew there would be more amputated body parts and blood covering the floor) was enough to keep me watching it.
