I reccomend this film to anyone with a high gore threshold as the violence could be deemed too much by some in parts so definitely not one for the kids. A very good film all together. I throughly enjoyed the whole film right the way through! The first few chapters in which they show the murder at the wedding, to the anime style section, i feel very much adds to the plot of the story, and then the way that the blended the anime sequence in so effortlessly with it was superb. Kill Bill is a sword fighting, blood splashing, limbs flying powerhouse of a movie. ...filled with blood filled scenes. Kill Bill kept me, a non-samurai fan normally, totally gripped till the end and waiting with bated breath until the second volume was released. The DVD is also excellent, as I have purchased. David Carradine and Uma Thurman both play their characters excellently. Truly too many good bits to mention. It all starts with what the movie is about-revenge and why. Not your normal revenge movie though. In this instance it is not the husband's wife who gets killed but the "husband" who kills his wife-or try at least.
