Advantages: Lots of special effect, makes great family viewing Disadvantages: None
This film was actually based on a book written by Michael Crichton. Steven Spielburg took the idea and turned it into the ultimate monster movie. Spielburg takes over the theme of Crichton's somewhat serious book, ditches the mumbo jumbo, changes the characters, and turns it into a 90's horror movie that’s suitable for all the family. Spielburg casted his fellow director Richard Attenborogh, as a mad but wealthy Scottish tycoon, who builds ... ...Two doctors played by Sam Neill and Laura Dern, and a wise assed mathematician played by Jeff Golburn all arrive to check out the island. But soon after arriving, the dinosaurs are running amok; there are Tyrannosaurus and Pterodactyls on the loose. There is also a very nasty Tyrannosaurus Rex who chases the doctors around the island in hope that they will become a tasty snack. This film featured state of the art camera effects and deserving won ...

When Jurassic Park first premiered at the movies, everyone was quizzing as to whether the regeneration of extinct dinosaurs from mosquito DNA could really happen. Well… anything is possible… in Movieland.
Alan Grant (Sam Neill) and Ellie Sattler (Laura Dern), are two palaeontologists whose dig is interrupted when a scientist, Dr. John Hammond (Richard Attenborough) drops in via helicopter to invite them to his theme park in South America, ... ...is Dr. Ian Malcolm (Jeff Goldblum), John Hammond’s lawyer, and also his two grandchildren. They’re taken through the story of how the mosquito, sealed in a ball of amber on his walking stick, helped them to create dinosaurs. The plan was to view the show and take the automatic car ride journey around the park to see the different types of species that have been bred.
Meanwhile, Dennis Nedry (Wayne Knight), who is a computer programmer, ...

...Based on Michael Crichton's book, Jurassic Park became the most successful movie ever when it was released in the early 1990's and rightfully so if all you are interested in is special effects.
The Plot...

In order to gain ... ...across a large array of Jurassic Park merchandise which is on display in the park's gift shop for no apparent cinematic purpose, other than to maybe promote those items which would hit our stores shortly after the film's release(although it may alsobe argued that this is some tongue-in-cheek humour on behalf of Mr. Spielberg). I fully understand that if you make a motion picture with a budget of this size then you need to make the money back, but ...

Advantages: Great Steven's masterpiece Disadvantages: None.
I always love Steven Spieldberg's movies. I admire his talents and his idea of making movies. This is not the exception. Undeniably, this movie really influence the world -- you may see a lot of dinasours products like toys etc, shows and so on during that period. You really can feel the influence of Steven Spielberg from this movie. Yeah, this movie is about some man-eating dinasours chasing human beings. In other words, there are lots of chasing, ... ...worth to mention is there is not bloody scence. In addition, there are senses of humour in the movie too. There is one shot which I really love: two kids have some intelligence fight against two raptors. However I think this film is more suitable for adults because some of the scences are too horror and bloody. It will scare the kids very much. But, I think with parents' guidance the children will like the last scence which the kids fight against ...

Advantages: Advantages: Amazing computer technology, brilliant story, great acting Disadvantages: Disadvantages: The sequel isn't anywhere near as good
Can you believe it? Jurassic Park was released into our cinemas a whole 7 years back, and for me it still has some of the greatest special effects seen in a film ever. At the time Jurassic Park was ground breaking, and if you watch the film (if you have never seen it) then I'm sure you will see what I mean. The film, directed by Steven Spielberg, is one of the greatest Blockbuster smashes of all time, making loads of money simply because it is an ... ...a lot of action in Jurassic Park - right from the start to the very end, you won't get bored watching it as the film provides edge of your seat tension and drama without being too scary for children. The storyline is superb, and the twists and turns in the plot make for an all round excellent viewing, which isn't at all predictable the first time that you see it. You really do have to admire the film, and appreciate the quality and substance to it. ...

JP is about, as we all know, millionaire dinosaurs- loevr and enthusiast John Hammond (Richard Attenbourgh) who using advanced genetic technology and dinosaur DNA from fossilised flies to creat dinosaurs and put them in a private zoo off the cost of Costa Rica. When problems arise with the park systems, he calles in paleontologists Alan Grant (Sam Neil) and Ellie Sattler (Laura Dern), and kooky mathematician Iam Malcolm (Jeff Goldblum). To add scare ... ...thrills begin, all brought about by teh treachert of the computer programmer Nedry, who we know as the fat guy from Seinfeld.
As it was based on a Michael Crichton book, the plot and charahcters are great, as is the science and the message to leave nature alone. The effects are breathtaking, especially the scenes with the T- rex and the ever- popular raptors. When the dinosaurs begin to escape and lay waste to everything, we see just how powerful ...

Jurassic Park was an amazing blockbuster when it came out, definately one of Spielberg's finest. The stunning graphics amazed the millions who helped make it land in the top ten movies grosses worldwide.

Advantages: Some of the best CGI of the 1990's Disadvantages: some unbelievable twists in the storyline
I went to see Jurrasic Park after reading the book first of all. I had high expectations and in terms of book to film versions I think the film does a very good job. This was one of the first films I saw in digital surround sound. It actually felt as though the velociraptors were chasing me from the back of the cinema! There are some very dodgy bits in the film...the hand in the wiring...the little girl who just happens to know what a unit system ... ...basically is a computer that runs the entire park...not bad for a small child!), The 'don't move...it won't hurt you if you don't move' yeah right!), the explanation of chaos theory... but on the whole this is a visual feast of special effects, great dinosaurs and amazing special effects. There is great use of CGI and considering it was a good few years ago now, the effects have stood the test of time. Of course the best thing in the film and star ...

Jurassic Park is a film that involves an incredible idea of bringing dinosaurs back to life using DNA that is millions of years old. The basic idea is to have an island in the middle of no where full of dinosaurs that were all once extinct.
The film starts with the uncle who owns the island full of dinosaurs called Jurassic Park inviting some two children which are his neice and nephew to the island to visit.
So the children come to visit and are ... ...off.
The whole of Jurassic park ends up going wrong as the guy who steals the chips mucks up the islands controls and so the dinosaurs start causing havoc smashing down fences and eating anything in sight if they are not herbivores.
So the kids and a doctor end up on a run inside the main dinosaur park and their uncle is back at the main controls trying to fix it but its no good as things just keep getting worse.
The film is very good as it is ...

Advantages: an epic film, acting, everything Disadvantages: none
Jurassic Park is a wonderful film. It stars Jeff Goldbloom and Richard Attenbourough. It is directed by Steven Spielberg. So, it is obvious why it was such a good film.
The story is about a top scientist (Attenbourgh) who discovers a way to re-create dinosaurs. Meanwhile Denis Nedry, a comouter expert in the company is bribed ... ...the equipment and steal some vital pieces.
He does this and suddenly a storm hits. Then, as expected by the viewer, the dinosaurs escape and run rampage around the Island. (just off Costa Rica)
The acting is amazing by everyone, even the children. It is totally unrealistic but the revolutionary computer graphics make it look believable. Allround, a top film which you will watch again and again. ...
