...bring me my second choice, Jimmy Carr's second DVD "Stand Up". Strangely after typing that and considering whether I can strictly compare Mr Pitt and Mr Carr I do fancy Jimmy for his lovable geek qualities. Even though I've seen this show live, watch the DVD did not disappoint. Well apart from the fact I can't spot myself in the audience, gutted! From 2002 Perrier Award nominee to 5 million viewers for "8 Out of 10 Cats" Jimmy's career has continued ...
...DVD, the menu page features Jimmy talking sarcastically about each of the features. In particular he promotes the subtitles saying that's where most of the money went! I passed this off as one of his sardonic comments but on later inspection I was glad I checked them out. The sections are "Scene Select" so that you can watch the show in any order you like or pick up where you left off, "subtitles" Jimmy's clear favourite and the "bonus material." ...

Jimmy Carr is a up and coming comedian legend in my opinion, with success from his first DVD his second live stand up 2 although not a catchy title doesnt repeat much material, if jokes are repeated from his first DVD you will find they have been changed slightly to better effect which are garanteed to make you laugh, apart from "machine gun joke telling" Jimmy balances the routine material with audience interaction and pulls it off quite successfully. ...
...thing i will say about Jimmy Carr is you'll either love him or hate him, You will either admire his outlook on life and quick responses or you will sit there eyebrows raised. There is also a section of Jimmy's performace at Comedy Central - this is the same routine as the main feature so isnt the best thing to watch straight after viewing the main disc. The disc also has Jimmy's interview on the BBC programme 'Top Gear' where he was named the fastest ...

Jimmy Carr has got to be one of the funniest men on the planet. He has a lot of wit, and he knows how to use it. This DVD is awesome, you hear some of Jimmy\'s best jokes. ...pick out how clever jimmy car is because hes telling the same jokes on tour all the the time he knows whats coming next its his delivery of jokes which is intelligent like any great comedian he has mastered this.
