And this DVD (part 1 out of 3) proves to reveal hidden aspects of the band in the early days as well as a number of never before seen on camera performances. In my opinion Iron maiden are one of if not the best live band in music, not to mention their other title 'fathers of heavy metal'. This DVD is fascinating and any maiden fan will be ... ...as well as you get the full performances from 'Live at the rainbow' (1981), 'beast over Hammersmith' (1982) and 'live in Dortmund (1983). You also get 'Live at Ruskin', and a documentary on the early development and establishment of a band that were to change history, and still are. You also get a 90 minute documentary on the band during there arguably wildest and fastest few years, which anybody can find intriguing. The other DVD's of there later ...
