Into The Blue (DVD)

Into the Blue came out at the cinemas and as usual I really wanted to go and see it (as I do with every new film that ever comes out) and as usual everybody around me started saying that it looked rubbish and they wouldn't come. So as usual when it comes to films I had to wait until I could see it on video which I did finally last night. As you can see from my rating of four stars I thought it was quite good but there was definitely room for improvement ...
...nothing else but to get into the ocean and explore. The scenery and sets are still amazing and you really want to be friends with these people so you can live their lives, it also wouldn't hurt to look like these people as they are all very good looking. While the four of them are out diving one day, Jared spots a rock that he recognizes being from a ship. ...in tone and the diversion into ropey thriller territory doesn't help things. Towards the end of the film Stockwell seems in a hurry to tie up all the loose ends, so we get a succession of hastily stapled together action sequences (grisly deaths, explosions and lots of swimming) and Nancy Drew revelations that are both too quick and too obvious to have any real effect. Stockwell can't even make sharks feel scary. Then there's an ending that decides ...

I saw this film at the cinema and i was not dissappointed once again Paul Walker who in my opinion in so sexy, did a great job in this film. This film is about Jared played by Paul Walker who loves diving and as he lives in the Bahamas this is something that is great to do and the scenery in the film is fantastic. Jared has dreams of finding treasure on the sea bed. Jared's girlfriend Sam played by Jessica also loves diving but loves the life that ...

Right, firstly I want to let you all know this a review of the DVD version of the film after having seen "The Making Of" and the deleted scenes. I don't know if this or Fantastic 4 was made first but whichever was made first, the director obviously saw Jessica Alba in a tight outfit and thought "I can use that in my movie" Jessica Alba does look pretty but she also looks about 13 years old. Paul Walker is a new face to me and I've never seen him ...

This was a film that i wasn't to bothered about going to the cinema to see. After you've seen some of Paul Walker's other films you start to get a bit sceptical. He does play the California Surfer "Dude" again, like he does in any other film "Fast and the Furious, Timeline" and it does have some of his cringe worthy phrases "Calm down Bro!", if you can bare to get past his acting the film is good easy watching and fun. ...the pain out of PW's acting. Some of the under (well all of them really) are fantastic, they really look the part and really make the film. The only thing i have against it is knowing abit about scuba diving and the fact that you can't swim that fast and far and stay under the water without breathing equipment by a HELL of a long way. Other than that its a well worth a go and definately worth watching with a beer and a curry on saturday night ...
