If you go expecting a faithful version to Asimov stories be prepared. They used only the general idea. Even so, the plot is a bit smarter than the average Hollywood movie. This is an excellent film! You relly sympathise with Detective Spooner. This isnt your typical "bad looking robots take over the earth" These robots are relatively human but not eerily human. The robot Sonny is brilliant the main robot lead and a tear comes to the eye when you see him about to "die". brilliant casting and story, bring on IROBOT 2! ...

However on the second time of watching it I just understood and it the end all made sence and became clear. I have seen this film twice now, the first time I saw it to be honest, I wasn't sure what was going on. The basic plot itself is eay to understand, A robot, accused of murder, trying to prove itself innocent, but not really trying that hard!
