Seeing this film at the cinema was definately the best way to see it, with it up on the big screen the CGI is even better. Advantages: The great special effects

I went to see this film and I loved every part of it. The special effects, the action, the plot, the futuristic look, and my favourite part, the haunting music, composed by Marco Beltrami (who also did Resident Evil, believe it or not). ...set-piece tunnel scrap for instance I, Robot is still RAM packed full of impressive action sequences. This is one of the best films I have ever seen. The special effects are spectacular. This film is mean't to be based in 2035. It is a world which now has robots as 'slaves', but the robots evolve and start to go bad. All of this was sparked off with the 'suicide' of the inventor of the robots. Every year a new film comes with a unique idea on how the world is going to bugger itself but this film does it with class. Even though it s based on a book by Isaac Asimov which was written in 1950 it still feels like a modern and possible story. Disadvantages: The original stories are a bit hidden on the action

If you go expecting a faithful version to Asimov stories be prepared. They used only the general idea. Even so, the plot is a bit smarter than the average Hollywood movie. The idea of the consciousness of a robot is touched on the surface, but enough to create an interesting theme. The action sequence is very good, and there are a few nice twists.
