It carries a disturbing message and also has a few rather edge of your seat scary moments in it as well as some quite dramatic scenes when you can feel the dispair that Smith goes through each day. After watching the movie the first time my reaction was mixed to say the least. Reading the description gives u a broad stroke to what the movie is about, but what it doesn't elaborate on is the fact that while "Will Smith comands the screen for most of the movie", most of the movie is 85% of it, leaving ur thoughts wondering at times to what to wear the next day and if u should get ur car washed. I am legend? Personally, i thought this one stunk like unwashed foot! All in all its a film with over an hour of buildup and ten minutes of actual action at the end - touted as an action film. Will Smith usually (and there have been exceptions in the past) does do films that are pretty good - look at Men In Black (though not the sequel!) and Hitch. i am legend? well what could you say about this. if your into action and will smith .. its one too watch. its an amazing film .. prob one of the best ive ever seen.It made me cry a couple of times because it sort of leads you up too stuff and your just getting too know them and then something goes wrong. if you get it on DVD it gives you a different ending when will smith doesnt actaully die .. he lives with that woman that thinks theyre's a place ...
