...of comic book type shorts I would have expected a making of or at least some additional bits on how they developed the books original concept etc.. so a bit let down there. This dvd is listed in most places under the horror genre and if you're after a scary horror film I really think you should look elsewhere, but if you'd like to see an alternative treatment of the vampire/zombie genre and watch more of a phycological film this is definitely worth ...

I saw this film at the cinema starring Will Smith and it was great. I am Legend, the film is about a break out virus that engulfs America. Excellent film! Never have I watched a film that stars just one man through nearly the entire film and really really enjoyed it!! Gripping from start to finish, including moments when you can let you heart take a breather and sit back and relax, but not for long, then your thrust back into it trying to peer through the side of the TV to see whats round the corner! Thoroughly thoroughly enjoyed this film, one that will not be watched once and forgotten but lent over and over to friends and family and will never ever collect dust sitting on the shelf with all the other DVDs!! ...

With all the hype and media interest in this film i was excited to find myself sitting in the cinema gripping my ticket in one hand and holding my drink in the other. however my overall thoughts of the film were not as i hoped. The story is good, the acting excellent but it didnt have the feel of other films of similar situations such as cloverfield. but my conclusion is, Do watch 'i am legend but dont get your hopes up as even though it is a fantastic film it isnt in my top 10. ...
