Disadvantages: Can't work out whether I liked it or not!

I am Legend My husband and I bought this DVD at Sainsbury's last week for £9.79 as I have really wanted to see it ever since it came out in the cinema as I had heard good things about it, e.g. it is scary and intelligent and makes you jump. I finally gave in and watched this movie last night. When I first saw the trailers I thought it looked amazing, then the trailers were changed and I was suprised to see that this film had "zombies" in it, or so it seemed. Disadvantages: great build up, but solved in no tme at all

I saw this film at the cinema starring Will Smith and it was great. I am Legend, the film is about a break out virus that engulfs America. Robert Neville played by Will Smith is the last man uninfected left trying to find the cure to save the world before its too late. A good story line but the ending lets the film down. I was intrigued by this film from a trailer I saw on TV showing Will Smith driving golf balls off the tailplane of an SR-71 spyplane into a deserted New York. Remake of an original. An absolute must-see. Will Smith is, as ever, impossible to turn away from. The story line keeps you interested, the mixture between drama, horror, thriller, is entertaining. It also has classic comedy involved and a few sad moments. The relationship between "the last man on earth" and "man's best friend" is truly endeering and worthy of many awards. You will not be disappointed. As usual, Will Smith gives a fabulous performance in this thriller DVD, possibly a bit too violent to be a family movie, however anyone over the age of 12 should be able to cope with the jumpy atmosphere. Haven't been as impressed with a film since 28 Days Later, so if you liked that, you will enjoy this.
