Advantages: More drama than you might think

Advantages: Some good moments of suspense. Good scene setting.
Disadvantages: Lost it's story to some daft horror scenes.

...in the usual pattern that I was expecting. I enjoy watching end of the world type scenario's like The Day After Tomorrow or Independence Day - big action films, when humanity pulls together to save the world. However, although the film does centre on disease killing off the population, here the similarity ends. Since I am home from University for a few days, my parents sent me to town the other day to buy the new series of House, as we are all obsessed with it and watch it together. Unfortunately, since the closure of Zavvi and Woolworths, there is only one shop in Newcastle that seems to sell House, and that is HMV. I am Legend My husband and I bought this DVD at Sainsbury's last week for £9.79 as I have really wanted to see it ever since it came out in the cinema as I had heard good things about it, e.g. it is scary and intelligent and makes you jump. I am Legend was the 2007; sci- fi horror adapted from the 1954 Francis Lawrence, and a remake of the classic The Omega Man. The film starred Will Smith, in what was to be his first horror film. I have been wanting to see this film since I saw the trailers for it at the cinema but with 3 young boys I am not able to get there and watch it so I had to wait for the DVD to come out. ...film was released in 2007, I had no idea that it was in fact a remake. The screenplay was adapted from a novel by Richard Matheson, which was written in 1954. It was first seen on the big screen in 1964's "The Last Man On Earth", and then again in 1971's "Omega Man". Disadvantages: You'll spend the first 80 minutes wondering and dozing off

I finally gave in and watched this movie last night. When I first saw the trailers I thought it looked amazing, then the trailers were changed and I was suprised to see that this film had "zombies" in it, or so it seemed.
