This movie is suppose to be about the real youth of the ninties; the drug culture. Five best friends, 48 hours and a load of ecstasy pills. Having watched the movie a number of times now, i still do not completely know what was going on. The film is rather hard to follow as it keeps jumping, like the minds of those that are on drugs. ...but... Ok, we'll go for Human traffic. Neither of us know what it's about but Channel 4 had rated it so we'd give it a go. If you were born in the 70s, 80s or 90s and liked to party then you will probably love this film. It may remind you somewhat of your youth, or of others who were doing all these things when you were not allowed. The film follows 5 friends on a weekend out. Like a lot of people they all live for the weekend when they all go totally mad. Just recently watched this film on DVD for the second time and I loved it. Its the story of a mad night out and about for a group of friends in Cardiff. You name it they get up to (for) it. As it is for many, many young people when the weekend lands "All that exists are clubs, drugs, pubs and parties!" This excellent film follows the weekend of a group a welsh friends (which one can you relate to the most?) in cardiff, from waiting for work to finally finish, all the effort of getting ready, through the drug and alcohol fuelled nightclub scene, followed by the afterparty and the always inevitable comedown. I'm sorry but where do these guys party? I live in Worcester which, for those of you who don't know, is hardly the party capital of the world! But this makes my weekends look like a riot!
