...for anyone about 15 up as it is quite gruesome in parts and has some very strong language with a certain c word appearing a couple of times on things like the swear box!!! This is a little bit of a shame as it is such a fantastic film that I would recommend it to all if I could. As I mentioned earlier I got this film cheaply and it can be found cheap and is well worth picking up for less than a fiver! The film is excellent and I hope everyone watches ...

I thought that the acting in this film is very good and the story is as funny as Shaun of the Dead. The actors in the film work well together to produce a story line that is interesting and amusing to watch. The end is brilliant and very surprising! Overall I really liked this film and found it hilarious. It never gets borig either. Normally I can't watch a film twice and find it funny, but this film is funny and is every time I watch it. Hot Fuzz is a English version of all the american cop films, made with an obvious tongue in cheek style, with an end result of an easy to watch film with laughs all the way through. Whats better is that if you are a fan of the american cop films (which i am) you will get lots of the references. This is a great DVD with yet another hilarious preformance from Simon Pegg and Nick Frost. Also known for their parody of dawn of the dead "sawn of the dead". I could not wait to see this film when i saw it advertised. I think both the main actors are great, i have seen them i many films before and they have never let me down. They can entertain me for hours on end. However, this film might not be for everybodys taste, there is no point to the story line, just a humourous comedy. If you liked Shaun of the dead then this is definetly a film for you! ...

I liked this film a lot, it's a quality spoof of an American blockbuster style film. The village and the local behaviour of the villagers has a somewhat Midsomer Murder feel to it. I find that you get an immediate insight into the characters and they become like family friends from the start! As some other reviews may have mentioned, it's not non-stop laughter like some other films and does build up like an episode of a murder mystery series sometimes ...

Have you seen Shaun Of The Dead? Yes? Then don't bother with this, it's pretty much a very similar film. They even copy the shortcut scene over the back gardens. Pegg plays Angel, a cop injured in a stabbing who is sent from London to the countryside as his arrest record is making the rest of the Met look bad.
