Advantages: Funny and great action Disadvantages: Doesn't relate to Home Alone 1 & 2
Home Alone 3
I first saw Home Alone 3 last Christmas when it was on TV and I was off sick from work and I must admit that it was not at all what I had expected!
The first two Home Alone films (Home Alone and Home Alone 2: Lost in New York) had been quite big blockbuster type films starring Macaulay Culkin, the latter having been released in 1992. Some five years later in 1997 Home Alone 3 was released and I must admit that it was a bit of a shock ... ...any of the original cats, Home Alone 3 centres around the story of Alex who stay home from school with Chicken Pox. Unfortunately his dad is away on business and his mum HAS to go into the office, leaving Alex home alone to guard the home.
Four high tech thieves are the villains here who are chasing a special micro chip that has been hidden on a remote control car. Mrs. Hess, Alex's neighbour has just returned form vacation and at the airport accidentally ...

Advantages: first two were good Disadvantages: not as appealing as the others
Home Alone 3 is an okay family movie, but it's not the same as Home Alone 1 & 2 were. First of all when you bring in a new lead actor in the 3rd film, it's not gonna be the same type of movie, because the kid is different and most importantly the bad guys are different. I mean how dumb do these bad guys have to be when they chase a remote control car and they can't catch up to it. At least in Home Alone 1 & 2 the plans were more believeable and fun ...

...her driveway.
When Alex gets home he see's some spots. He has been diagnosed with the chicken-pocks. He has to stay at home for the whole week. Unfortunately for his parents a new family has moved onto the block. They are the ones looking for the chip (NSB-100 C Series). They search 1 house a day. There are only 15 houses on the block.
On the first day they burgle the first house. Alex spots the man in the Murphy's house. He calls 911 and the police ... ...quality of the film. Unfortunately it doesn't come close to the first two films. Home Alone 1 and 2 (Lost in New York)
Anyway thats what i thought of it. Not better than the first two but i think that you can never beat a good old culkin movie. ...

Advantages: A good film, brillant acting, KIDS WILL LOVE IT.......... Disadvantages: none...............
...doubts when I first saw Home Alone 3, first it had been about 5 years since the last home alone had been released, and second it did not have any of the original cast. I thought it would probably be a cheap knock off to make more money. But I found out quickly that I was wrong and that it was the best one yet. The reason I like this is the characters are a lot better. The parents and the rest of the family aren't complete idiots like Kevin’s, come ... ...your kid at home on a family vacation. And Kevin just had two bumbling burglars to smite, While Alex has four villains to smack down and they are after more then his VCR. Also his parents are the typical modern day parents who are to busy with there jobs to stay home with him while he has the chicken pox. The story goes like this terrorists have stolen a top-secret microchip, If install on a missile it will be undetectable to any anti-missile defense. ...

Advantages: kids might enjoy it Disadvantages: boring, repetition of the previous films
If it wasn't a Home Alone film it would be okay but, dislike him you may, there is no substitute for McCauly Caulkin's cheeky little face and the avid persistance of Joe Pesci. The kid left alone theme wears a little bit thin but the children like it. Personally, I find there is something endearing about Home Alone 1 and 2 but, sorry, this film just does nothing for me.The story seems to be exactly the same as the first one,and the gags repeat themselves. The ...
