Harry's Darkest Adventure Yet...

Advantages: Incredible special effects and acting
Disadvantages: A lot of material from the book not in movie

**What Is It?** Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire DVD is the adventures of Harry Potter at his fourth year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. This is a 2 disc special edition DVD. **Why Watch It?** As everyone knows when a Harry Potter movie comes out it is huge (even getting front page news sometimes) For hardcore Harry Potter fans like me, who have grown up with the books and movies by their side, then of course you would do practically ...
...Cover** Possibly the most recognisible Harry Potter cover in the series is Harry in his Triwizard Gear with Fleur, Cedric, Viktor. Ron and Hermione standing with Hogwarts in the backround and the scene of the second task. There standing all looking concerned and so they should be. My favourite cover of the series. **How Does It Differ To The Book?** As a big Harry potter fan i was able to spot immediate differences in the film from the book. This ...

In Goblet of Fire Harry (Daniel Radcliffe), Ron (Rupert Grint - he was in Thunderpants!!! - hint the sarcasm of the three exclamation marks) and Hermione (Emma Watson) are off again to unwittingly cause anarchy at Hogwarts and piss off the staff as well as the undeveloped dark lord, Lord Voldermort. They start off at the Quidditch World ...

As Harry battles his way through the challenges and a Prom, he discovers the real reason he's competing in the Tournament, and once again comes face-to-face with Lord Voldermort in a battle of supreme, all-powerful dark lord against some hormonal schoolboy.....??? Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire

Advantages: Harry Potter! exciting, good effects.
Disadvantages: Not kept everything in.

■The Book■ Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire is the fourth installment in the Harry Potter series and this is where it all gets exciting. If you have read the book then you will obviously know what happens but I won't spoil it for anyone who hasn't. The book tells the story of Harry's excitement filled fourth year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardary. The main event that the book is arranged around is the Triwizard Tournament ...
...tournament and keeps you with Harry all year as he goes through life and starts to grow up. The book is definitely not over until it is over as in a typical Harry Potter book fashion, most of the action happens at the end and a lot of what will be needed to understand the next three books will be revealed at the end of this book. ■The Movie■ The Harry Potter films being taken up by a new director again, this time it is Mike Newell, ...

Charming film

Disadvantages: Some bits missed out

...before, I am a massive Harry Potter fan and I've watched them religiously as they've been released. This film was no exception, another charming story to add to the tale of Harry Potter and his adventure through Hogwarts. === Story === The film opens with a dark snake slithering through the grasses of the graveyard towards an "outhouse". You are then in the caretakers house who spots a flashing light from one of the windows of the outhouse. He ...
...begin to destroy the campsite. Harry (of course) gets separated from the rest of the group as they head back to the portkey and ends up being knocked unconscious by people rushing past him. He wakes up and sees a mysterious man lurking out ( the same man we saw in the outhouse). He casts a spell and creates the "Dark Mark" of Voldemort in the clouds. This is where the confusion starts for Harry and continues throughout the film. I think this film ...

Harry Potter drops a notch for Goblet of Fire

Advantages: Great cast holding it up
Disadvantages: They shouldn't need to hold it up. Too dark

J K Rowling's Harry Potter series has been a massive topseller on paper, and it has seen large amounts of success in its transformation onto the big screen behind various directors. Featuring household names as the adult performers, the first three films have been very successful and kept very true to the books, although it is inevitable that certain things will be left out in the transition. This is the fourth in the series, Harry Potter and the ...

And the most worrying thing is that Harry never put his name forward for the competition, so there is something sinister afoot once more. And with the Dark Lord Voildemort growing stronger, you never know when he could be around the next corner! The Cast and Performances Daniel Radcliffe returns ...

Not quite Harry Potter and the goblet of fire

Advantages: Good special effects , more adult friendly , original cast
Disadvantages: Not true to the book , children look too old

Having read all the Harry Potter books and seen all the films I was greatly looking forward to this film , despite being 54 years old now . I am sorry to say I was rather disappointed. As with all books your imagination means the books win out against the film in 99% of cases . The Harry Potter books start out quite childish and increase in maturity , style and thrill with each one . They are after all a childrens read but the later books are not ...

The scenery is dark and the usual music played in a somewhat darker way . The Harry Potter theme tune is consistent with all the films . We move to a caretakers home , a little distance from the old Riddle house which is supposed to be empty. ...

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire is an Action - Packed adventure, with many a twist and many a turn. As most will know, this is the fourth of seven movies in the harry potter series, and is as action packed as its predecessors. Knowing the books very well, I instantly spotted parts of the books which have been missed out of the film, such as the Quidditch World Cup, which was disappointing, but including this in the film would have made this even longer than it already is. The actors who play the teachers portrays their character in the book perfectly, but some of the actors playing the students need a bit ...

...continuation of the fabled hero Harry Potter. This review does not intend to divulge any of the plots, however I will endeavor to objectively review the movies good and bad points. The movie finds harry back at Hogwarts, a year below the age of entry to the Goblet of Fire Tournament, which determines the top wizard of the year. However, through some chicanery his naem does indeed appear in the goblet, and thus our adventure begins. The storyline ...

This is my favourite Harry Potter movie so far, it's also my favourite book out of the seven. If you have already read the books you will enjoy this film. Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire is the greatest of the Harry potter films. The main characters are extremely well acted and played to perfection by Daniel, Emma, and Rupert. The gob of fire is based on the triwizard tournament, an event that brings the three wizard schools together to compete in magical competitions and one of the triwizard tests is getting past a dragon. Harry Potter (Daniel Radcliff) finds himself the 4th champion chosen to ...
