Groundhog Day, this is an absolute must for all Bill Murray fans. Phil Connors, (Bill Murray) is a T.V weatherman, full of his own self-importance and really not a nice person. Connors gets sent to Punxsutawney in Pennsylvania, to cover the annual Groundhog Day festivities, (Something he feels he is above.) On his way out of town, he and his crew encounter the mother of all blizzards, (Which he himself failed to predict!) and so have to go back ...

...the year when the town groundhog predicts the weather. Phil is annoyed that he has to do it and can't wait to get home. But upon leaving they are stopped due to a blizzard that even Phil didn't predict, and told they must go back. Phil then relives the Groundhog day over and over, exactly the same each except what his actions change! He first uses it to do whatever he likes, e.g. sleep with women, rob sercurity vans. He also finds himself invinsible ...
...test, can he seduce Rita in one day?? He does whatever he can, learns her life history, learns Latin, plays piano, even becomes a sculptor!!! Overall : 80% This is a classic film, while not hilarious-laugh-out-loud-funny, is amusing and with a great plot, will want you to watch again. ...hearing from 2 friends that Groundhog Day was a boring movie, I originally planned not to watch it. However, I heard about the storyline and was intrigued - it sounded so original! And after I watched it, I had completely changed my opinion. Groundhog Day is about a man called Phil who gets stuck living the same day over and over again; when he realises this and that there are no consequences, he does loads of funny things! This is a humourous movie ...
...would have is that when you see him living the same day over and over, you can get a bit bored - however, it soon makes up for that by the things Phil does! So don't pre-judge this movie - I reccommend you see it before making your mind up whether you like it or not! ...
