Advantages: Fantastic comedy, yet again Disadvantages: We never find out Mac's first name
Green wing has to be one of my top must-see comedies. It borrows many of the cast from other British comedies such as Black Books and Smack the Pony, both excellent comedies in their own right. At a guess i would say that the Green Wing Special was an episode for the fans longing for a third series. It flows wonderfully from the last episode of series two. We get to follow Alan Statham and Joanna Clore's journey on the run from the law. This is hilarious. ... ...a few broken hearts. All parts of this story were executed with superb detail and the funniest thing that was on TV Christmas 2006. Although this was never meant to be another series, there are still plots unsolved, and we never find out Mac's first name!! Something which has been bugging me from day 1! I would definately reccommend buying this DVD as a round-off for series two, money well spent. ...

This special GReen wing DVD is absolutely hilarious. it is outstandingly hilarious and deserves a place in every DVD cupboard. The unconventional look at hospital life makes this a one of a kind program it is guaranteed to put a smile on your face:) this is clearly an excellent present as i received it for my birthday this year and found it the best dvd i've ever watched. its a definite must have.
