Disadvantages: There's just not enough of it

Green Wing is unlike any other medical drama/ comedy that you might have watched - it\'s far more surreal and there are hardly any patients. I heard about Green Wing from Ricky Gervais PodCasts and was intrigued about all the hype. I watched only one episode on TV and bought the box-set the next day. The concept of Green Wing is based on hospital staff from different departments, and the relationship they have with each other. I fell in love with Green Wing as soon as I saw it. So, yes this will be biased. It's a very witty comedy, but it doesn't rely on wits alone. It has completely random and absurd moments. Although set in a hospital, there is nothing to do with the actual patients, which gives the show an original feel. Disadvantages: You won't ilke this if you don't like Spaced or Black Books style comedy.

Bought this DVD for my husband and I have got hooked too! The humour is excellent and the charachters are extremely strange!!! Some people may not like the 'fast moving' filming in parts of each episode but I feel it add a nice vibe to it. I would say that you would definately like this if you like the humour in Blackadder, Black Books and Spaced as it is very similar.
