I am not usually a big fan of cliche movies but this film somehow managed to use all the cliches (including the mandatory English baddie!!) in the book but came out fresh and exciting. Gone In 60 Seconds was a brilliant action movie. Nothing else. The story behind it was not only weak, but contrived as well. I actually felt annoyed by the "sentimental" moments. The big names in this movie, like Nicholas Cage, were not chosen for their acting ability, but rather for their ability to fill a cinema.
