Advantages: It has Angelina Joile and mint cars Disadvantages: The first hour and a half
When i rented this film out i was expecting a action pacted gun thriller but instead it was crap!! The first hour of this film was total crap there was plot but nothing really exciting happened infact i can hardly remember what happened. The only part i do remember is the last 20 mins when Nic Cage who is ok in this film is trying to steal the last car and is trying to out run the police and even this wasn't memerable. In conclusion don't bother ...

Advantages: Excellent Disadvantages: There is nothing wrong with it
Gone in 60 seconds has to be the best car film ever it has all the car models you could dream of and they also get to drive them, The plot is set on a Guys little brother who gets himself into trouble by messing up a Jump (a jump is where you nick a car such as a dodge viper) then the guy who runs the ring get s angry a threatens to kill the guys little brother. The older brother used to do jumps but he had a close encounter one time and gave it ... ...brother relives his youth days and that leads on to more than one thing. I suggest that you go and rent it out and watch it. It is more of a guy’s film because there are so much cars in it but there are also a few very fit women in it. Blokes as well my girlfriends tell me.
Enjoy it is an excellent film ...

Advantages: good action, great story line Disadvantages: none
Gone in 60 seconds is in some ways the total package. Very few movies contain great action scenes and interesting plot lines filled with experienced actors. If you like edge of you seat action and excitement this move is for you. When this movie first came out all the critics and fans were ranting and raving about the amount of incredible special effects involving the hottest cars. In fact the only thing to rival the special effects was Nicholas ... ...is also packet with extras to keep you interested. Memphis has no choice but to save his brothers skin and take one last job. He has 2 days to steal 50 cars and the clock is ticking.

...directed by Dominic Sena but Gone in 60 Seconds is not about the stars but about the cool cars and there are loads of them!
Anyway, Kip messes up, so it is all up to his his big brother, Randall "Memphis" Raines (Nicolas Cage), one of the great car thiefs, to come out of retirement and save him. And who doesn't? Sure there are pointless car chases and a very predictable plot but it all adds to the fun. This fun is emphasised by Vinny Jones who....well that would be telling!

Advantages: Easy to follow the storyline Disadvantages: None
I watched 'Gone in 60 seconds' quite a while after it was released on video, which was unusual for me as I am a huge Nicholas Cage fan. It was a good film with an unusual storyline. Nicholas Cage plays Memphis Raines, who after retiring from the car stealing game, is forced to resurrect his career to save his brother's life. I found it to be a bit of a nail-biter, with a strong cast and a definite start, middle and end which a lot of action films ...

I wasn't particularly bothered about seeing this film because of what it was about CARS, you get a bit sick and tired when your partner rants on about cars all the time. Anyway, I went to see it.....there was very little story and in my opinion the bits without any cars in were the best. Basically its about nicking cars and some tart with collagen lips. A bit corny, the boy (Nicholas Cage) gets the girl (tart with collagen lips). I thought that as ... ...there to be very little storyline other than nicking 50 cars in one night. Oh yeah, and at the end Nicholas Cage's character did a VERY fake jump over a load of cars and that's about it. If it excites you to see expensive cars being driven fast then watch it ...

Advantages: Full of Action, great cars, chases, Angelina Jolie Disadvantages: One ridiculous, unbelievable stunt, Vinnie Jones,
After hearing a lot of bad reviews in the press it was a toss up between watching this or X-Men, and I must say I am glad I went to see this.
OK, so Vinnie Jones as the 'silent but violent' hardman is still not convincing (I wasn't a fan of him in Lock Stock) but Nicolas Cage and Angelina Jolie make up for that with good performances.
Very predictable in parts but then this movie isn't really about plot, it relies more on the fast cars and the ...

This is quite a good film. I'm not going to lie to you, it won't blow you away. It won't make you sit up and beg the director for more. You won't be robbing corner shops to get enough money to see it for the 157th time. But it's worth seeing. It's a simple enough story, based on a 1974 film of the same name, with roughly the same plot. Ex-car thief Memphis Raine is dragged back into his old business to help out his younger brother, he assembles his ... ...heist. It is entertaining in parts, the chase scenes are reasonable enough and Nicholas Cage brings his typical skill to the lead role. Angelina Jolie is incredibly attractive as the sassy car mechanic/barmaid/car thiefstress/love interest. Vinnie Jones "plays" his type cast role to the usual level, and is threatening throughout. The best casting is of Giovanni Ribisi as Memphis Raine's younger, less competent brother, who manages to evoke the right ...

This is a real high octane film. The plot is simple, the cast are fantastic and the stunts are the best I have seen in ages.
Cage plays a retired car thief whose brother is effectively a “wanna be” thief. When a “boost” – theft – goes wrong his boss takes it, errr, kinda personal, threatening to kill little brother un less he gets his 50 cars on the shopping list in 72 hours.
Cage – ever the hero – ... ...to finish this film will have you on the edge of your seat. It is the only film I have seen for a long time that seemed to be over before it started. I wont spoil the plot, but go rent it, you wont regret it. ...

Advantages: Better than most car movies Disadvantages: Anjelina Jolie's dreadlocks aren't very appealing for the normally immaculate actress
Nicolas Cage plays a retired car jacker whose brother has fallen victim to the new gangster in town. It's a movie about brotherly love, camaraderie, and stealing lots of beautiful cars. Nicolas Cage's brother (Gionanni Ribisi) has to boost fifty cars in just one week but can't do it alone and therefore his brother (Cage) and his crew are forced to help him out of a sticky situation. Delroy Lindo plays the cop who is constantly one step behind the ...

Advantages: Vinny Jones does alright Disadvantages: Yet more brit bashing, rubbish story, totally predictable
What a waste of time this film was. The one thing you'd expect to see in a film like this is a decent car chase at least. Everything was so obvious and dull. Every fast car scene seemed to be just made up of quick low to the road camera shots to make out the cars going really fast. I know thos eyanks don't have man manual gear cars over there, but it was so funny how the film chose to keep showing gage changing gear with his feet all the time...making ... ...to impress those yanks i guess :)
The bady!..what was that all about?..they used a English actor for this part and made him out like a stuck up idiot with a cheesy accent...and how many bad guys do you know like woodwork for a hobby.
The only thing about the film for me that was half decent, was the appearence by Vinny Jones, a bit of true English grit acting. They tried making him sound like an idiot at the end too, with his only one line of the ...
