This film is a must see! i came across it by accident one night when my boyfriend and i were looking for a video to watch there was nothing else that took my fancy so we decided to get 'gone in 60 seconds' as for adrenaline pumping action its got it all as well as the sassy angelina jolie and suprsingly sexy nicolas cage. Both add to the spice of the film without being too racy. As for my preconceptions of it being a boys film with all the cars ...

The scene is set that a man who is convicted of stealing hundreds of cars - the most notorious car thief in America who has become a reformed character has a brother who has got into a spot of bother. As with most of my trips to the cinema with members of the opposite sex, you either go and see a 'boy' or a 'girl' film. This film was definately aimed at the boys, and fine, why not! I must admit that I did enjoy watching this, the fast, sexy cars and high speed chases are pretty much guaranteed to get everyone on the edge of their seats. Vinnie Jones played his 'Lock, Stock' character yet again, but it fit in well with the film and added some humour. The ending - well, without giving too much away, it was a disappointing 'feel good' ending to what could have been quite a hard hitting film. A lame plot, rather feeble characters and acting that doesn't even live up to the Muppets leave this film with only the car chases to try and make it worth watching... Nicholas Cage does some of his worst acting ever and the rest of the actors well I can't remember who they were and saw the film one hour ago... So onto the car chases, have you seen Ronin, did you get that lump in your throat cringe as they hit the corners and lean back and forwards ...

The title sums it up for me really! I went to see this with my fiancee and his mate (who both own American cars, go racing etc) at their request, and in a nutshell, I was bored for three-quarters of the film. It's essentially one long car-chase, with a bit of plot thrown in there to tie it all together. Nicholas Cage, one of my favourite actors, doesn't get a chance to really 'get into' the role, and as for Vinnie Jones, well....watch the film and ...

Great action film! Definatly would reccomend it, heres a bit about the plot. Nicholas Cage plays Randall 'Memphis' Raines. A young car thief, was contracted to steal specific cars but something went wrong.The man who hired him, Raymond Calitri, wants his head. The only thing that will appease Calitri is if the order is fulfilled. So Memphis has to assemble his old crew, and he has to do the job in a few days. Raines has a brother called Memphis, ...
