Advantages: I'm thinking about it
Disadvantages: Where shall I start

I wanted to see Ghost ship at the cinema but being unable to get to the pictures at a time when the film was showing, I wasn’t too disappointed – knowing it wouldn’t be too long before it was on DVD. The time finally came and it was released on DVD, so I added it my queue at my DVD rental site and waited for its delivery. Advantages: Erm... the opening scene is excellent and so is the very end...
Disadvantages: ... it's the bit in the middle that's rubbish!

...when no-one's looking and a ghost who can morph into the body of Epps and make believe she's trying to kill Murphy. Truly bizarre. My favourite part in the film is where Katie 'shows' Epps what really happened the night the Antonia Graza disappeared and to be honest it was more or less what you'd already figured out but it was good to see all the different aspects of the story start to make a bit of sense. ...I would read a few Ghost Ship reviews before I set out, unfortunately there was none, so here I am writing the first one! So in the cinema, most of the other films I have already seen, ghost ship starts in 5 minutes. Ghost Ship it is. The movie opens with a party scene on board of an ocean liner sailing over the Bering Sea. It is the year of 1962. On board of the “Antonia Graza”, fine European people dance slowly, to the sound of Francesca’s (Francesca Rettondini) nostalgic voice. It is chic, slow paced party. Advantages: You can laugh at your 'I'll look after you' boyfriend when he jumps at the first sign of anything gruesome.
Disadvantages: Its winter, they're in Arctic waters, they're in the middle of the ocean, yet this silly girl seems happy waltzing around in a little t-shirt rather than a jumper. Hmm.

Advantages: Scary in some parts, great special FX
Disadvantages: Not everyone's taste

...there's nothing really special in Ghost Ship that you haven't already seen in other movies. Well, that's been a bit unfair really, the slaughter scene at the beginning of the film is really good with plenty of blood and guts for any horror fan, but sadly that's the most gore you'll get, except for the odd swimming pool of blood. ...this interesting depiction of a Ghost Ship takes you on a journey to the past. The plot is fairly straightforward if you pay attention to detail and are interested in ships. The main plot is that there are a group of people who find ships, and a guy comes in (Harrington) and talks to them about a ship he has spotted in the ocean. ...been and always will be, ghost haunting horror fans. The kinds of films that always make money. So lets not talk about deeper meaning, because there’s no deeper meaning in all this. Just plain entertainment. "Ghost Ship" boat is solid but boring plot. Okay, so we're dazzled when a guy falls through a rusted-out section of the rotten floor, yet I see no one hide behind seats?
