Frequency (DVD)

It is a bit confusing at first when the movie switches from present to past and forth. But eventually the story became clear. It is about how John, the son stumbles upon an old ham radio and by some luck he was talking to his dad 30 years ago! That was a miracle. Then John started telling his dad who is a fireman to cheat death. But by doing so he changed the history and unleashed a murder who killed his mother instead. Now both of them had to corporate ...
...you can see how both of them fought against the same guy, and eventually....the hero wins. Dennis Quaid role as Frank was good, but not very excellent. On the overall the story line was on the average and it would not worth my money to watch it in the cinema. ...

Review of Frequency (DVD)

Changing the past to affect the future may not be a new concept in film, but "Frequency" handles it deftly and with heart. The acting is superb, and as far as I can tell the plot is nearly airtight. It keeps you on your toes as the story twists in what feels like six directions at once and keeps you in emotional sync with the characters. The past/present connections are stirring and intriguing, especially the single-flash cuts at pivotal moments. ...
