...tedious and uninspiring? If so, Forrest Gump is the movie that will refresh your soul. This touching film will be so impressive you will be forced to go out and buy it yourself! Advantages: Gives the easily moved something to cry about. Disadvantages: It would be an excellent film if it didnt suck so much.
I’m actually allergic to Forrest Gump. All it takes is for someone to say (in the appropriate voice) “I’m Forrest, Forrest Gump” and I go into shock. I was in a coma for two weeks after someone crept up behind me and said “Life is like a box of chocolates…” luckily I managed to smite him dead before he could finish the quote, which could have killed me. Every one has things they just can’t stand; for Winston its rats, for Rabbit its mess and for ... ...Fast becoming a modern classic(!), Forrest Gump successfully hijacked the only market that could be taken in by it; namely Romantic loving females, who manage to turn dire films such as The English Patient and Forrest Gump into timeless classics.

The true love of his life is a childhood friend, Jenny. Jenny's life is the complete opposite to Forrest's, but he is deeply in love with her. She pushes him away, almost embarrassed by him, as she flits in and out of his life as she travels the country, poses in Playboy and joins anti-war groups.
However, he receives a letter from Jenny, asking her to meet him, which brings the film ...

...you have to write about Forrest Gump? My mind had been ranting from the time my heart elicited a wish to write about this. It had been ceaseless for it thought that I wouldn’t be able to render justice to this great motion picture as many great writers who have already posted an article. I am perturbed. But then, This movie is all and all a movie that connects heart to heart. Why, then should I ever listen to my befuddling mind?

Forrest Gump reminds us of the basic mannerism that are forgot by many of us owing to the culture around us. It shows us that we have no reasons to be brusque on the people who are below the normal level.
