And I know funny! I'm a clownfish!

Advantages: Brilliant animation, humour for all the family
Disadvantages: None worth mentioning

As a parent I am (often reluctantly) exposed to a plethora of children's films but I have to say that over the years I have thoroughly enjoyed many (if not most) of Disney's animated features. In recent years those that have stood out above the others have been the ones from Pixar Studios - Toy Story (&2), A Bugs Life and Monsters Inc. And now, just released in the UK we have the latest Pixar offering - "Finding Nemo". Apparently this film was started ...
...has meant it has taken the longest to complete. The film is written and directed by Andrew Stanton of Pixar. The Story --------- Marlin and Coral are clownfish (an orange fish with white stripes) that live in a new home (a sea anemone) near the drop-off (the edge) of the great barrier reef. The film starts with them admiring their 4000 eggs and trying to decide what to name them. Coral likes "Nemo" but Marlin is not so keen and reluctantly agrees ...

I found Nemo and Im glad I did

Advantages: A movie which caters for all ages.
Disadvantages: The sharks don`t play a big enough part.

I have just watched what I regard to be one of the best movies of the year. Ok, it isn`t going to get an Oscar for best actor (although Nemo played a great part), but I am quite sure the actors who lended their voices to this movie will get a lot of recognition for this piece of visual art. The story begins with a happily married couple of clownfish (Marlin & Coral)moving into a new anenome. It is the ideal home and the neighbourhood is perfect ...
...are planning to bring into the world (in the form of eggs which are hidden in a little hole beside the new home). But a nasty big egg-eating fish spoils the party and decides to eat the eggs as well as poor Coral. Anyway, poor Marlin wakes up to find that he is a widower and that only ONE of his children survived (Nemo). When Nemo reaches school age Marlin is reluctant to let him go as he has developed a phobia of the outside water and worries that ...

...in and deservedly so. Finding Nemo is currently the biggest film of the year in terms of box office and arrives on these shores with very little fanfare. By now people know that any film from the makers of Toy Story is going to be decent. I remember seeing initial test screening reviews of the unfinished product last year and reports weren’t that great. But I’m happy to say that the finished thing is fantastic. Finding Nemo takes place away from ...
...out of the way. Is Finding Nemo as good as the Toy Story movies? The answer to that question is no but that doesn’t mean the films aren’t any good. From the opening scenes you are charmed by the attention to detail in the design and animation. The opening also nearly had this 24-year old close to tears. The film starts of slow but soon builds as soon as Marlin’s adventure begins. The arrival of the Sharks is a real highlight as they loom onto screen ...

...late has been outstanding and Finding Nemo is no exception. The characters are wonderfully realistic and easy to relate to, drawing all viewers into the story and egging Marlin on every step of the way. The storyline is divided into small adventures which keeps kids and adults on the edge of their seats throughout the film. I have not yet met anyone who has watched Finding Nemo who hasn't loved it. I would strongly recommend buying this film to anyone ...

Whatever on earth that means Nemo’s a fish. A deceptively named Clown Fish to be precise. But yes, he’s a fish. He could just as easily be a human boy, though, given the things he gets up to. ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ The Film ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ Finding Nemo! ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ The Plot ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ I have only covered the plot briefly as it is enjoyable to watch the whole film with only a brief idea of what happens. I have left quite a few parts of the film out of the plot description ...

The 2 Disc Special Edition DVD is absolutely laced with bonus material, including a Making Of, Documentaries on the art and characters and even a short Pixar film, Knick Knack. There's loads more on the bonus DVD, and if that sort of stuff floats your boat then it will keep you entertained longer ...

This film is one of the classics, I think it is fantastic. It is about a clownfish called Marlin who is a widower. He has a son called Nemo, who is about to start school but Marlin keeps putting it off because he is so overprotective. Finding Nemo (funniest movie EVER!)

Advantages: the funniest movie i have ever saw!
Disadvantages: none! unless you don't enjoy a good laugh!

The new animation film named 'Finding Nemo' is set to hit the UK cinema screens October 3rd 2003! To my great advantage, i have already seen the movie and to this day i have watched it over 10 times and it still gets me in fits! The movie is about life in the underwaters and focuses on fish life. In this tale, the story is based on a father who is searching for his son who was taking by divers. He sets out on the amazing adventure of his life and ...

When Marlon awakes, he swims around to realize that his wife and kids had been eaten. This part of the movie is upsetting and brings a tear to your eye. Marlon then ...
