...clever, and finanically sound. I missed Finding Nemo at the cinema, and when I first saw the DVD I have to admit I wasn't overly impressed. I'm a grumpy old man. I wasn't expecting much - anything which gets as much hype as 'Finding Nemo' is bound to be rubbish - right? - WRONG! ...large cokes and a promotional Finding Nemo card later, we were seated in the front row of the large cinema - so we could 'see clearly'. Yes, darling, but mummy really needs a NECK to see. ...disappointed by the finished article! Finding Nemo is, as with all Pixar offerings, exceptionally well drawn, animated and directed so I will leave the ‘ooohs’ and ‘aaaahhs’ about all that stuff until later on (as they were worth commenting on!). Aside from that this was a classic film from the new wave of Disney films sweeping across the cinema landscape.
