Advantages: the fire exit! Disadvantages: this film was ever made!
I saw more action in the bottom of my tub of popcorn and I was more scared going to the toilet at my grandma's house than watching this film. This film by definition is a total was of money.
The director trying to pull off a wes craven when he knows he cant live up to scream lord. And please, please, please mr director if you are reading this, even contemplate a sequel. The special effects were ok, but cheesy. The shower scene death was ok but still ... ...in the hell did you have to pick a crap actor as the title role? More depth in a plank of plywood Ok this film might appeal to the american teen who has nothing better to do but for the brits this film was a big turn off! I heard it took longer to film the commercial than it did to make the film, because nobody could scream realistically!
definitely save your pennies for something better! ...

Advantages: Kerr Smith...... Disadvantages: Too short
That is exactly wot I did during the film! I knew wot was going to happen, but I didn't know when! The biggest jump was when that girl got hit by the bus! The best bit was with the teacher in her house with all those knives! If you love blood and guts there is a bit where one of the characters gets decapitated, the corpse stands headless then falls over! It was gorey! I really enjoyed this film. Its one to watch over and over again! The plot was ... ...first ever movie! Wot a babe! Hope you guys enjoyed it as much as me!After you have seen this film you will never want to fly again, use a computer again, ride in a car again, or even go in a bathroom again, it really does put you off normal, everyday things. So beware if you haven't watched it and beware if you have.... ...

Review of Final Destination (DVD)
Great stuff! Myself and my wife went to see this and were both very impressed and entertained at the same time. When a young student(Devon Sawa) has a vision of a plane he has boarded crashing in flames, he decides along with some friends, who reckon he has a real Cassandra complex, not to take the flight. Lo and behold, his premonition comes true, the plane blows up after takeoff. As he deals with the guilt of the passengers' deaths, and being tailed ... ...bomb, his friends are dying in a particular order. One is strangled after slipping on running water, another is suddenly struck by a bus . . . can he save more from Death? This movie delivers all it promises - great special effects, notably in the plane crash scenes and gory ends for various characters, surprisingly good performances for this type of movie and plenty of sudden and unexpected twists and turns, not to mention a fair quota of shocks ...

Review of Final Destination (DVD)
Advantages: Entertianing and funny Disadvantages: Totally unbelievable
This is the last movie you would go to see if you want a realistic storyline and a set of deep chracters. But who cares. This is probably the most purely entertaining movie I've seen for a long time. I went into it having no idea of what it would be about and I think this was to my advantage. The movie is based around a group of young people who all manage to defy death by getting off a plane that eventually crashes. The remainder of the movie then ...

Advantages: Will have you believing in premonitions Disadvantages: don't watch this if you are flying within 2 weeks
The start was quite boring and i thought oh no i can't stand much of this. But it sooned got going and was really edge of the seat material but it was rather predictable in places.Still the best horror movie in ages though. The downpoint is if you are flying within 2 weeks of seeing this film you will probably be on a knife edge until touchdown.
Also the characters names are a bit stupid eg.krystal and blake come on dynasty thsy could have come up ...

Advantages: Keeps you entertained when you get into the story Disadvantages: Takes a while to actually get into the story
This is one of the oddest films that I have ever come accross, however it was still a very good one, I believe that the best thing about this film is that there are a lot of twists in the film (things that you do not expect to happen), however the film is very watchable and quite "scary" is some places, not that I want to put you off. The ending is also something that you would not expect from the film.
I think that if I was to give this film a ...

Advantages: Great story, non-stop action Disadvantages: None to speak of.
"Final Destination" enters a genre already fairly full - that of the teen-horror-action-murder movie. It manages to put an original twist on it, though. A group of high-school kids "cheat" death by missing a flight, so death decides to come and get them. Not as far fetched as it sounds, "Final Destination" tells us how most of the friends die in many weird and thrilling (not to mention gruesome) ways, and how the others die. It is action all the ...

I thought this film was pretty good, so much so, I was opening my M & M's just a point in the film that made everyone jump, and they went all over the place. I now rate films on the M & M factor hehe
This was a good film with some very good special effects. Some of it was a bit far fetched, and it didnt make you jump as much as the adverts wanted you to believe, but on the whole, I enjoyed this film.
I think it would lose something if you waited ...

Advantages: theres no stopping the action horror Disadvantages: you dont have time to look away from the t.v.
...disks: 1
Type: horror/action
Final Destination is easily the best scream inspired horror film yet I think.
Its a film about a group of teenagers going on a college trip to Paris but one of them has a premonition that the plane will blow up and it does but only after he and some of the other students and one teacher get off after being spooked when he goes mad on the plane before takeoff, having narrowly escaped their allotted demise in the air ... ...no for a answer, When he tries to tracks them down relentlessly, if you have seen this you will know that this film can be quite gory in parts like the scene in the kitchen and the death in the bathroom.
The police, who are investigating the plane's explosion and the string of unexplained deaths after it, think that he is committing the murders.
The film ends with a electrical storm.
You will find out after watching this film a few times or listening ...

One of the most wooden movies I've ever seen in terms of acting and plotline, basically this film will be remembered solely for the couple of minutes which dealt with the demise of 5 or 6 cast members. One in particular (involving a girl and a fast moving bus) will be remembered as one of the all time shocking pieces of cinema. Unfortuately the rest of the film plods along, with hammy B movie script and acting. The plot goes something like this - ...

The film is about a teenager who can see into the future. But he can’t see ordinary things, he can see peoples deaths and how they happen. The first thing they show is him seeing the plane he’s about to get on blowing up when it takes off. This results in him panicking and a few other people panicking too. These people then get off the plane. They all watch as the plane takes off into the sky, and like the teenager saw it blew up.
The ... ...plane were meant to die too. He works out that death has a pattern and he has to help his friends avoid death for as long as possible. The rest of the film is about how him and his friends and how they can’t avoid death no matter how hard they try.
This film isn’t like anything else I have seen before. It is so much better! This film isn’t only interesting and has a gripping story line it is also very good visually. It actually ...

Advantages: Occasional moments of suspense/humour. Disadvantages: Never raises itself above the mediocre.
It's rare that I leave a film before the end, (I watched Police Acadamy 2 right the way through), but I made an exception in the case of this turkey. I knew it wasn't going to be my sort of film, I am an old fart of forty-four summers, but standing in the video shop with my two teenage children, it got the vote over 'The Green Mile'. I'd read a few reviews which were favourable, 'full of suspense, original storyline, new leader in the horror/suspense ... ...suffer it. Not until I began watching did I realise that all the reviewers were under fourteen years of age, none of them could have read a book or watched a serious film. If they think that the concept of Death being cheated and returning to claim his own is original, then they really should get out more. Try Bergmanns' 'The Seventh Seal'.
To show balance I have to say that the first fifteen minutes were watchable, good build up and good special ...

This has to be one of the best ever films made! Haley Joel Osment (Trevor McKinnen) is an eleven ear old sudent who has just started his first year at secondery school, in his first day his taecher (Kevin Spacey) askes the class to start a project on how to make the world a better place to live in!
So Trevor takes this task very seriousley, infact more than any one in his class has, and he comes up with the idea of "Pay it forward" which is that ... ...realy help them get back on their feet, and then each of those three people have to help antother three and so on and so on.
For a while he thinks that his idea is working, but then he gives up all hope because none of his"Pay it forwards" have worked so he thinks every body elso dose not care. Then one day there is a knock at the door of his house where he lives with his Mom (Helen Hunt) who has started to have a relationship with his teacher(Kevin ...
