...to criticize them. Final destination is a very good film, can of media noise in its exit(release), can of advertisement, the pleasure is there only bigger. To be frank, we looked at this film because there was nothing else to the poster in this time. The spectator is Scotch-taped in his seat during all the film, a sort of omnipresent fear which one had been able to know with the first one Scream returns to us, the murderer little knock at any time, ... ...in the course of time. Final destination is so a very good film, an unpretentious film, but a film which offers a quality spectacle and a pleasant entertainment (even if the sensation of stress which dominates throughout the film is not so pleasant as that …) ". If you have not yet seen this film, do not hesitate to get yourselves him(it). A last point, on the DVD, a game(set) is present. It(he) consists in determining the date of your death ...

Advantages: MIND NUMBING. HEAD EXPLODING AMAZING FILM Disadvantages: NOT LONG ENOUGH
WHEN I FIRST HEARD ABOUT "FINAL DESTINATION". I WAS LIKE "YEAH RIGHT" YET ANOTHER TYPICAL HORROR MOVIE.. BOY WAS I SURPRISED..
IT'S NOT REALLY THE F/X THAT MAKE THE MOVIE BUT MORE THE TWISTS AND THE BITS THAT MAKE YOU GO "ARGGGGGGGGGH".
I WONT GIVE THE WHOLE PLOT AWAY. JUST BEWARE OF BUSSES AND TRAINS IN THE MOVIE AND THATS NOT EVEN INCLUDING THE PLANE SEQUENCE, WHICH HAS TO BE THE CLEVEREST TWIST IVE EVER KNOWN IN ANY MOVIE.
I REALLY HOPE THEY ...

Advantages: Memorable deaths, good performances and special effects Disadvantages: Some dodgy dialogue, a few inconsistencies
...explodes. Their trip to the final destination delayed but not terminated - as the teenagers find out, there is no cheating death. The opening scene at the airport is effective, and ensures Final Destination won't be shown as flight entertainment. The deaths are well executed (if you'll excuse the pun). If it's not the thought behind them - which will get the guessing games going - then it's the timing that can catch you out. However, there is inconsistency ... ...stuff thrown around already. Final Destination is strong in the special effects department. Computer trickery can be evident, but it's not as if these effects stand out like a sore thumb. It's not entirely the works of computers however, and when something is evidently fake, there is humour with horror - something which the film manages to mix successfully on more than this one occasion. Despite being set in New York, there are a couple of clues, ...

Advantages: the idea is good, some ok scenes Disadvantages: generally poor acting, use of idea etc.
The idea behind this movie is great and I really wanted to like it...but couldn't for a number of reasons. The Plot Some American college student are going on a school trip to France. They get everything prepared, even get on the plane and then one of tehm has a vision that the plane is going to explode and they are all going to be killed. He flips out and is thrown off the plane along with some fellow students and a teacher who also got involved ... ...indeed explode just the way he saw it. However, this is where the strange bit begins, because apparently death is not happy about being cheated out of his victims and starts reclaiming them one by one in a variety of inventive accidents...but can our prophetic hero cheat death again and save them all from death's clutches... So what the problem? Well basically once again we have a horror movie full of unknown American 'kids' who couldn't act their ...

...watch, watch this amazing film. Final Destination is without doubt the best film of the year so far. From strat to finish, you will find yourself grasping to your chair and you wont blink. Advantages: a fresh angle from the other teen horror flicks Disadvantages: bit gruesome in places
...with a slightly different angle. Final Destination is essentially about fate, when a group of students get off a plane just before it explodes they have saved themselves from dying - but for how long? One by one the students reach a gruesome end until Devon Sawa's charecter realises that there is a pattern to the deaths. But can anyone really escape fate......
I liked this film, for one, you weren't always wondering who the murderer was - as there ... ...usual teen horror flick, which essentially made it more enjoyable (as there all getting a bit repetative of each other now aren't they?) I would recommend this film to someone - but not for the faint hearted, there are plenty of jumpy moments and some plain grim ones too. So be warned. ...

Advantages: A movie that will leave you rigid in your seat Disadvantages: If you don't like flying, turn away during this scene!
Final Destination had me rigid in my cinema seat from start to finish. A truly exhilerating film with so many unexpected twists and turns it'll leave you reeling. Far better than the Scream movies it has great effects - especially the opening minutes of the film where the group of students are on the ill fated aeroplane. The acting was excellent and the storyline great. This one definitely isn't one for the faint-hearted and if you don't like flying, ...

Final Destination has made my list as one of the best horror films in the wake of the teen/slasher revival. in fact it's the most original horror film since the original Scream and it may be better than Scream. There have been many cheap imitations(Urban Legend, i still know what you did last summer, etc) but this one is a keeper.
The film begins with the most exhillerating 15 minutes in recent memory(and if you're afraid of flying be prepared to ... ...on a class trip to France. while on the plane he has a vision that the plan is going to explode. Final Destination has managed to be 100% original, including exciting theories about life & death. this film manages to capture the unreal predictability of death.....we all know that death is random, & people are not 'chosen' to die...but for the apporx. 2 hours we are in the theatre, we do believe the possibility!.

This is one of those films that is going to be nowhere near as good on a television as it is on the big screen. In the cinema, this films is very good, im not sure if its as stunning as the trailer makes it, but it is still a very good film. The film is very tense at places, and after you have seen it, its one of those films that you want to see again. Advantages: It's full of surprises Disadvantages: Expect to leave your heart behind - it makes you jump!
Final Destination is a supposed take-off of an old film called “Sliders”, where a group of youngsters attempt to cheat death. I wasn’t around then, though, so the idea behind the film was a brand new concept to me. I had heard from lots of friends that it was unmissable, but "teen horror" isn't generally my favourite genre, so I went to the cinema with some uncertainty. This was soon dispelled. The film causes you to think carefully about issues ... ...but I found the film both clever and intruiging. Devon Sawa is convincing, not to mention tasty, in the lead role as a young boy who visualizes a plane crash and consequently escapes death. Tension is sustained effectively throughout, and I must admit to being absolutely terrified and jumping violently at times as, one by one, his friends met a gory demise. I would recommend the film, although it’s not for the squeamish, and there’s a great turn ...

...horror movies, it's a shame Final Destination didn't stand out more. It's well acted, well directed, and-- for the most part-- smartly written. Trouble is, it's inconsistent. Another problem is that "Concept of Death" is such a hard villain to root against (or for, if that's your taste).
It's refreshing to see high school characters played by actors who could probably get carded-- for the most part. Devon Sawa was great in the lead and played his ... ...nightmare, enough was enough. The final confrontation with death is intense but fun-- the teacher's death was comical and uninteresting.
Kudos still go to Morgan and Wong for giving us a real storyline with real enough characters (I'd expect nothing less from the team that gave us Space: Above & Beyond), instead of the usual throwaway dialogue to fill time between killings. At times I wish the script had more balance of drama and horror, but they ...

Final Destination is a great film, and the DVD has some pretty cool features. The film is across between a thriller and a horror film. It is scary, but not in the same way as something like Sixth Sense.
The film is about a group of teenagers who are going on a school trip to Paris, one guy on the plane has a preminition that the plane is about to crash, so exits the plane. A few of his friends follow him. No one believes him, until the plane crashes! ... ...to die on the plane. Death won't let them get away with this, so tracks them down and writes a new series of events which will lead to their deaths. Can they cheat death again?
The film is very good, one of the best I have seen and definetly a must watch for all lovers of films like Fight Club, The Matrix and The Faculty.
The DVD contains a number of features, including a trailer for the film, a whole documentary on premonitions, interviewsa with ...
